Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten White Hills is our second Aspire centre located in Melbourne’s regional town of Bendigo in the suburb of White Hills. Our White Hills centre is located close to White Hills Pimary school and Bendigo’s beautiful Lake Weeroona Park. The centre includes six spacious rooms that support children through their entire learning journey, from nursery to kindergarten.
Our White Hills centre is staffed by a team of experienced and fully qualified educators, who are committed to providing the best possible care for every child. We work in close collaboration with families and ensure that any personal needs and requests are accommodated for. Our teachers possess comprehensive knowledge of both the Early Years Learning Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, that offers every child the opportunity to succeed.
Aspire White Hills is proud to be part of the Bendigo community, which is one of Melbourne’s biggest regional towns. The centre has connections with the local primary school, and some local businesses in the area.
With community at the heart of everything we do at Aspire, our centre’s host a range of community events, internal celebrations and cultural programs throughout the year for families. These events ensure the children can be part of the community throughout their entire early learning journey.
Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten centres offer regular incursion programs that provide fun and engaging educational and learning experiences for the children. Some stand-outs include a visit from a butterfly incursion program and an animal farm incursion amongst others.
Aspire also run engaging and exciting excursions throughout the year. This differs from centre to centre, but may include excursions such as Bush Kinder, farm visits, walking to a local park or to local primary schools. These excursions further bolster the learning of students in every age group, as they align with Aspire's curriculum and the interests of the children.
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten centres provide nutritious daily meals to each child. Meals adhere to the Nutrition Australia Dietary Guidelines, ensuring that each child, regardless of dietary requirements, receives delicious meals each day. Aspire's amazing chefs also love to create special moments for our children and staff, making birthday cakes or delicious spreads of food to celebrate special occasions.
Our purpose-built facility sets the benchmark for early learning centres and caters to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. The six learning spaces have design features fit for each age group. These rooms foster a tailored curriculum throughout all stages of learning. Designed to help your child learn and grow, they will quickly develop a love of learning and a sense of community in their rooms.
Within our six well-equipped indoor rooms, children participate in a range of daily activities including arts and craft, music, sports, reading and more. We have a beautiful, architecturally designed outdoor space that connects seamlessly with our indoor rooms. This makes it easy for children to move between the indoor and outdoor spaces, supporting a holistic learning experience for the children.
The spacious outdoor yard features a playground with different areas for each age group. Children are free to explore the outdoor environments including sand pits, veggie gardens, rock climbing features, and more. Additionally, our programs actively promote the message of environmental consciousness and sustainability.
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten have four main programs, tailored to each stage of early development. At Aspire, our quality education programs are designed to guide children’s learning and development, by encouraging them to explore, discover and connect with others.
Our Baby Steps Nursery Program provides a nurturing environment, with daily activities and intentional teaching opportunities to support your child to reach developmental milestones. Our play-based learning approach allows children to learn through sensory play, as well as build a foundation for future learning.
The Little Learners Toddler Program is designed to create an engaging environment that supports your toddler’s social and cognitive development. We provide a fun, play-based learning approach that engages their young and active minds within a safe and stimulating environment.
Aspire Early Education White Hills has a robust Pre-Kinder and Kinder program to support children's growth and development as they step into primary school. Our play-based programs are designed by kindergarten teachers, as well as early primary school teachers. The teaching team also considers what the children are interested in learning about, and tailors activities, topics and learning opportunities around these interests. Inquiry-based learning helps children develop new hobbies and makes them feel as if their interests are listened to. This ensures that the children in our care receive an education that will allow them to thrive and prepare them for future education.
The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of free kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care kindergarten program.
As of 2025 families will save up to $2,101 a year for eligible children aged three years old and above in eligible long daycares. This is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy. Use our CCS Calculator to estimate your child care subsidy & out-of-pocket costs.
The Free Kinder program is designed to ensure all children access the benefits of early learning and give them a strong foundation for a successful school experience.
