Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten Truganina is part of the Westbrook Estate and caters to children aged from six weeks to six years old. The childcare centre is conveniently located a short distance from Tarneit Station, Tarneit Central Shopping Centre and a short walk to Yamada Community Park. Aspire Truganina has seven homely rooms and is designed for specific age groups and development.
Aspire Truganina childcare centre is staffed by a team of experienced and fully qualified educators who are committed to providing the best possible care for every child. We work in close collaboration with families, ensuring that any additional requests are accommodated. Our Kindergarten educational program has been designed from the ground up by an experienced, qualified early childhood teacher. Our program takes elements from the Early Years Learning Framework and combines them with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework to create a curriculum that offers every child the opportunity to succeed.
At Aspire Truganina, we’re committed to connecting children and families with the wider community through meaningful experiences and partnerships.
Whether it’s learning about safety, understanding how our community works, or simply enjoying a visit from a familiar face. These partnerships help bring learning to life and ensure every child feels part of their local community throughout their early learning journey.
We offer exciting incursion programs at Aspire Truganina that provide new experiences for the children and help them develop new interests and skills. These cover sport, music, art and drama, and are a highlight for the children at Aspire.
The centre also offers one-off incursion programs throughout the term. Some recent standouts include:
Aspire childcare centres frequently run engaging and exciting excursions throughout the year. Aspire Truganina runs regular excursions to the local park for all age groups. While the kinder children also visit Warren Primary School throughout the term, as part of their school readiness program. These excursions further bolster the learning of students in every age group, as they align with Aspire's curriculum and the interests of the children.
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten centres provide nutritious daily meals to each child. Meals adhere to the Nutrition Australia Dietary Guidelines, ensuring that each child, regardless of dietary requirements, receives delicious meals each day. Aspire's amazing chefs also love to create special moments for our children and staff, making birthday cakes or delicious spreads of food to celebrate special occasions.
Our purpose-built facility sets the benchmark for early learning centres and caters to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. The Truganina childcare centre is our only double-story Aspire centre with two outdoor spaces suited for different age groups. Our eight learning spaces have design features fit for each age group. These rooms foster a tailored curriculum throughout all stages of learning.
Within our seven well-equipped indoor rooms, children participate in a range of daily activities including arts and craft, music, sports, reading and more. We have a beautiful, architecturally designed outdoor space that connects seamlessly with our indoor rooms. This makes it easy for children to move between the indoor and outdoor spaces, supporting a holistic learning experience for the children.
Our double-storey centre features two outdoor spaces, one with an Under the Sea theme and a giant whale climbing structure, and the other with a yellow boat. The spacious outdoor yard also features playground and climbing structures, sand pits, veggie gardens and more. Additionally, our programs actively promote the message of environmental consciousness and sustainability.
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten operates in a long daycare setting and has four main education programs, tailored to each stage of early development. At Aspire, our quality education programs are designed to guide children’s learning and development by encouraging them to explore, discover and connect with others.
Our Baby Steps Nursery Program provides a nurturing environment, with daily activities and intentional teaching opportunities to support your child to reach developmental milestones. Our play-based learning approach allows children to learn through sensory play, as well as build a foundation for future learning.
The Little Learners Toddler Program is designed to create an engaging environment that supports your toddler’s social and cognitive development. We provide a fun, play-based learning approach that engages their young and active minds within a safe and stimulating environment.
Aspire’s Kickstart to Kinder program is specially designed for three-year-olds, offering a warm and engaging introduction to their kindergarten journey. Created in collaboration with kindergarten and local primary school teachers, the program supports each child’s social, emotional and early literacy development.
With a balance of structured and play-based learning, children are encouraged to explore their interests, build confidence and develop independence. This approach helps lay the foundation for a smooth transition into four-year-old kindergarten and a lifelong love of learning.
Aspire’s Step into Prep program is designed for four-year-olds to confidently prepare for primary school in a supportive and stimulating environment. Building on skills developed in earlier years, the program focuses on independence, communication, and critical thinking.
The program combines hands-on activities with intentional learning experiences designed to nurture curiosity and resilience. Our educators work closely with each child, tailoring support to their strengths and interests. This thoughtful approach helps children feel confident and ready to embrace the challenges and excitement of primary school.
The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of free kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care kindergarten program.
As of 2025 families can save up to $2,101 a year for eligible children aged three years old and above in eligible long daycares. This is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy. Use our CCS Calculator to estimate your child care subsidy & out-of-pocket costs.
The Free Kinder program is designed to ensure all children access the benefits of early learning and give them a strong foundation for a successful school experience.

Hi there, my name is Amanda Weller, and I am the Centre Manager at Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Truganina.
What I love most about working with Aspire is the commitment to continual growth and connections with the community. They foster professional development while actively engaging with local initiatives, creating a rewarding environment that inspires meaningful change and collaboration.
Building trust and connecting communities are Aspire’s values that resonate with me the most. These values resonate with me because trust is essential for meaningful relationships, fostering transparency and collaboration. Connecting communities nurtures inclusivity and support, creating a sense of belonging. Together, they foster meaningful growth in early education and reinforce the foundation of our community.
After starting my Early Childhood career in 2007 as a Certificate III educator, I have worked with all age groups and in varying positions. I continued to advance my knowledge and qualifications as my career progressed, and I have now been in management for over 10 years. The majority of this time has been spent in the community sector. I have a passion for policy development and mentoring educators, and I am committed to ongoing critical reflection, continual improvement, and value the relationships that I build with each child and family.
I am passionate about questioning the “why?” in all aspects of education and aim to continually mentor the team to celebrate their own experience, knowledge and values. I grew up in the inner-west and value time with family. As a mum of two young children, I appreciate the trust that our families of Aspire Truganina place in us.

Hi! My name is Irasha Warushahannadige, and I’m the Head of Curriculum at Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Truganina, and I bring a rich and diverse background in early childhood education.
My journey began as a Kindergarten Teacher in Sri Lanka and continued in Australia from 2015, where I have worked across various age groups and educational settings. I have held roles such as Lead Educator and am now a fully registered, bachelor-qualified Teacher and certified Mentor Teacher, supporting Provisionally Registered Teachers in their development.
My approach to leadership is grounded in respect, open communication, and collaboration. I believe in building strong, trusting relationships with families, educators, and the wider community to create a nurturing, child-centred environment. The Aspire value of Collaboration deeply resonates with me, as I see meaningful partnerships as the foundation for children's success.
What I love the most about working at Aspire is the genuine opportunity for career progression and the chance to work alongside passionate, like-minded professionals. I am particularly passionate about empowering educators through thoughtful leadership and mentoring, and supporting play-based learning to create rich, engaging experiences for children.
Originally from Sri Lanka, I am fluent in both English and Sinhala and is a proud mother of two teenage daughters. My multicultural background and commitment to high-quality education help me be a valued leader within the Aspire community.
