Hi, my name is Taniya Samarasinghe, and I am the Centre Manager for Aspire Bella Estate. I completed my postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education from Victoria University in 2021 and began my childcare journey with Aspire Pakenham in 2022 as the 4-year-old kinder teacher. Since joining, I have cherished the close, caring, positive, and respectful connections within our community of educators, children, and families.
Before entering the childcare sector, I worked in the banking industry for five years. I hold a Bachelor's in Business Management from Cardiff Metropolitan University and a Master's of Professional Accounting from Charles Sturt University, Melbourne. After having my baby boy, I spent time immersed in early childhood environments, shaping my understanding of children's capabilities and boosting my confidence in designing educational programs. My favorite part about working with children is being part of their growth and development, teaching new concepts, and witnessing their mastery of new skills. I am passionate about play-based learning and fostering innovative practices that meet the needs of every child.
