Aspire Baldivis Childcare Centre

The Sector

We are thrilled to bring Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten to the Baldivis community. Aspire Baldivis is surrounded by expansive nature reserves and bushland. It is also a short distance from Pine View Primary school and Baldivis South Community Centre. The state-of-the-art facility features beautiful indoor and outdoor environments for children to learn and grow in. The 5 spacious rooms in the centre supports children through their entire learning journey, catering for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old.

Mealtimes, along with our Aspire sustainability program which features edible gardens and children’s cooking classes run in our piazza. This space will bring our community of children together to share learning experiences that occur during these important times. Shared time across multiple age groups allows diverse relationships to flourish. Older children develop responsibility, increase their confidence and independence skills as they model positive behaviours to support the younger children. Younger children also benefit immensely from these experiences. They mimic the positive behaviours of older children, propelling the development of their confidence and independence.

We love the opportunity to bring our Aspire community together with our local community, to celebrate the diversity of our children and families to create a sense of belonging for everyone.  By understanding children in the context of their families and community, we can provide meaningful and purposeful opportunities and experiences that relate to their world.

Incursions at Aspire Baldivis

The centre has the opportunity to run a variety of fun, educational and engaging incursions to supplement the children's learning. Aspire Baldivis currently runs the below incursions:

  • Jazzie Shazzies - an exhilarating, high-energy, interactive class catered for 1-5year olds. Classes are bursting with energy, featuring many props, beloved children's tunes, and dynamic activities. The children enjoy a lively experience of singing, dancing and moving to music and are able to use their imagination and roleplay with our many fun costumes. Classes are in line with Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Bush Kindy - Aspire Baldivis is taking the kindy classroom outside in their Bush Kindy program! This hands-on program allows children to learn in a natural environment. Travelling to the nearby nature reserve, children are able to play, learn and grow in nature, learning about the world around them.
  • Rhythm 'n' Run - Rhythm ‘n’ Run's Good Sports program aims to be more than just a tool for developing fundamental movement skills. It provides kids with a fun introduction to various sports, teaching them the names, basic rules, and techniques, while emphasising perseverance and teamwork. Additionally, we offer resources to help families connect with local sporting clubs, allowing children to pursue their passions and meet other families with similar interests. This involvement not only benefits families but also enriches the community, demonstrating the value of giving back through activities like coaching and supporting team events.

Kindy at Aspire Baldivis -

Preparing Your Child for School

Aspire Early Education Baldivis has a robust Pre-Kindy and Kindy program to support children's growth and development as they step into primary school. Our play-based programs are designed by Kindergarten teachers, as well as early primary school teachers. The teaching team also considers what the children are interested in learning about, and tailors activities, topics and learning opportunities around these interests. Enquiry-based learning helps children develop new hobbies, and makes them feel as if their interests are listened to. This ensures that the children in our care receive an education that will allow them to thrive, and prepares them for future education.

Kindy Incursion Programs

Incursions and excursions are an exciting part of Aspire Baldivis' curriculum, and are included as part of your daily fee. Baldivis has implemented a Bush Kindy program, which brings the classroom outdoors! Studies show that children thrive learning in outdoor environments, and gives them the opportunity to play and learn in a unique setting. Children learn about native plants and wildlife, the Indigenous history of the land that they are on, as well as other topics like sustainability and STEM. Aspire Baldivis is also implementing a monthly First Nations incursion with Elder Cyril from Milliyaan Aboriginal Services. This incredible opportunity allows the children at the centre to deepen their roots to the First Nations Peoples of the land they reside on, as well as learn about their culture celebrations and history.

Meet the Centre Manager for Baldivis

Tatum Spark, Centre Manager at Aspire Baldivis, began her journey in early education in 2003 with a passion for supporting children. With diverse roles including educator, lead educator, assistant manager, and manager, she understands various perspectives within the early education industry. Outside work, Tatum enjoys family time, outdoor activities, spending time at the beach, and playing darts. Her philosophy emphasises creating a warm, caring atmosphere where all feel welcome. By creating positive attachments with children and encouraging them to be active participants in their environment, this supports a child’s sense of belonging and self-confidence as well as their connection to home. She promotes positive relationships, fostering children's independence and emotional understanding. Tatum advocates for community involvement, believing it fosters a sense of safety and support. She provides diverse learning experiences, and strongly believes the best way to learn is through having fun!

What Our Families Have To Say

Love Aspire childcare Centre! I have sent both my girls here and they have loved being a part of this big family! My eldest daughter has since graduated from the centre and gone on to primary school. She still asks and talks about the educators and friends she has made at the centre. My youngest still attends and looks forward to every day I take her. She is always greeted with big hugs and smiles from educators upon arrival. She has so much fun at the centre. The children are always doing some sort of fun learning activities and when it comes to pick up time at the end of day.. my little one never wants to leave! I can't thank the lovely educators enough for all their hard work love and care they put into looking after all of our children! Thankyou so much!

Ruthie, family at Aspire Cobblebank, VIC

All I can say is aspire is such an amazing centre! I have been through a few different daycares with my other children in the past and this one is by far the best! I can 100% say I trust the carers and know that my lil one is in fantastic hands. The freedom they get allows my daughter to have fun doing what she wants, they keep her happy and content throught the whole day. If your searching for a daycare facility you definately need to check them out! 5/5

Josie, family at Aspire Bendigo, VIC

Our experience at Aspire has been nothing but positive.  We feel so welcomed by their team and our son has made an instant connection with his educators.  Excellent communication and care.  Can’t recommend them highly enough.  He’s been there since they opened and has been in three rooms over that time and his skills just seem to jump exponentially each time he’s moved up.  He’s built meaningful relationships with his educators and they all know us and are happy to talk to us - even those who aren’t in his room greet us with a smile.  I’ve recommended it to anyone who has asked for child care in the area because I’m just so impressed.

Carly, family at Aspire Clyde North, VIC

We have had a wonderful experience to date with Aspire. The team have been welcoming and informative from the day we toured the centre. We receive great communication and support from management. My daughter loves her room educators who are caring, passionate and creative. I appreciate the attention to detail with the daily photo highlights and journals as well reading her individual learning stories and term goals.
