Aspire childcare centres also run engaging and exciting excursions throughout the year. This differs from centre to centre, but may include excursions such as Bush Kinder, farm visits, walking to a local park or to local primary schools. These excursions further bolster the learning of students in every age group, as they align with Aspire's curriculum and the interests of the children.
Aspire Cranbourne North childcare centre provides nutritious daily meals to each child. Meals adhere to the Nutrition Australia Dietary Guidelines, ensuring that each child, regardless of dietary requirements, receives delicious meals each day. Aspire's amazing chefs also love to create special moments for our children and staff, making birthday cakes or delicious spreads of food to celebrate special occasions.
Our purpose-built Cranbourne North childcare facility sets the benchmark for early learning centres and caters to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Our centre’s unique design features high ceilings and glass windows around the entirety, giving it a very open and modern feel. The eight learning spaces also have design features fit for each age group. These rooms foster a tailored curriculum throughout all stages of learning.
Within our eight well-equipped indoor rooms, children participate in a range of daily activities including arts and craft, music, sports, reading and more. We have a beautiful, architecturally designed outdoor space that connects seamlessly with our indoor rooms. This makes it easy for children to move between the indoor and outdoor spaces, supporting a holistic learning experience for the children.
The Cranbourne North outdoor yard features different playground areas for each age group, and an exciting old-school truck. The children are free to explore the truck as well as the other outdoor environments including slides, sand pits, veggie gardens, more. Additionally, our outdoor programs actively promote the message of environmental consciousness and sustainability.
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten operates in a long daycare setting and has four main education programs, tailored to each stage of early development. At Aspire, our quality education programs are designed to guide children’s learning and development by encouraging them to explore, discover and connect with others.
Our Baby Steps Nursery Program provides a nurturing environment, with daily activities and intentional teaching opportunities to support your child to reach developmental milestones. Our play-based learning approach allows children to learn through sensory play, as well as build a foundation for future learning.
The Little Learners Toddler Program is designed to create an engaging environment that supports your toddler’s social and cognitive development. We provide a fun, play-based learning approach that engages their young and active minds within a safe and stimulating environment.
Aspire’s Kickstart to Kinder program is specially designed for three-year-olds, offering a warm and engaging introduction to their kindergarten journey. Created in collaboration with kindergarten and local primary school teachers, the program supports each child’s social, emotional and early literacy development.
With a balance of structured and play-based learning, children are encouraged to explore their interests, build confidence and develop independence. This approach helps lay the foundation for a smooth transition into four-year-old kindergarten and a lifelong love of learning.
Aspire’s Step into Prep program is designed for four-year-olds to confidently prepare for primary school in a supportive and stimulating environment. Building on skills developed in earlier years, the program focuses on independence, communication, and critical thinking.
The program combines hands-on activities with intentional learning experiences designed to nurture curiosity and resilience. Our educators work closely with each child, tailoring support to their strengths and interests. This thoughtful approach helps children feel confident and ready to embrace the challenges and excitement of primary school.

Hi, I’m Nirosha, Centre Manager at Aspire Cranbourne North.
I love working at Aspire because we truly place children and families at the heart of everything we do, while also supporting each other to grow as professionals. I’m proud to contribute to a workplace where every voice is heard and respected.
The Aspire value I connect with most is connecting communities. This aligns with my strong belief in the power of relationships. I prioritise building meaningful connections with children, families, and my team. Always creating a solid foundation of trust, collaboration, and belonging within our centre community.
My goal is to foster a warm, welcoming environment where families feel heard and involved in their child’s journey. As a leader I want the same for my team, so I lead with empathy, transparency and a commitment to continuous improvement for my colleagues as well.
I hold Diplomas in Early Childhood Education and Care, and Leadership and Management. I began my career in 2009 as an educator and have since progressed through various leadership roles, including Lead Educator, Educational Leader, and Assistant Centre Manager. I’m now proud to lead the Aspire Cranbourne North team. Throughout my journey, I’ve stayed dedicated to creating inclusive, nurturing and high-quality learning environments for children and families.
Besides work, I’m a proud mother and enjoy contributing to my local community. I speak both English and Sinhalese, which helps me connect with a diverse range of families and educators.

Hi, I’m Buddhi Basnayake, the Head of Curriculum at Aspire Cranbourne North.
I joined Aspire in 2020 and haven’t looked back since! What inspires me, is Aspire’s professionalism and its clear vision to always provide the very best for children. As a mother myself, I deeply value how every decision is made with the child’s perspective in mind. I value Aspire’s commitment to educator development and career growth. It’s rewarding to be part of such a supportive and ethical organisation.
The Aspire value that resonates most with me is Connecting Communities. I’m passionate about the way Aspire builds strong relationships with families and the broader community, using those connections to enrich children’s learning and deepen their understanding of the world. Plus, I deeply appreciate Aspire’s cultural inclusiveness and the genuine respect for diversity, demonstrated through celebrations that honour the uniqueness of each culture.
I hold degrees in Early Childhood Education and Human Resource Management and began my early childhood career in 2017. I joined Aspire as an assistant educator and have since grown into roles such as room leader, kindergarten teacher, educational leader, and now Head of Curriculum. I bring passion and dedication in this role, whether I’m designing meaningful learning experiences for children or supporting educators in their own growth. I believe in leading with energy and kindness, because when educators feel seen and appreciated, it creates a positive environment where children can truly thrive.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to a daughter and son. I was born in Sri Lanka and speak Sinhalese, and I have a deep love for music and travelling.
