Our Berwick Waters centre is rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standards by the ACECQA, an amazing achievement which showcases the team’s commitment to providing the highest quality care and education.
Aspire Berwick Waters is staffed by a team of experienced and fully qualified educators, who are committed to providing the best possible care for every child. We work in close collaboration with families and ensure that any personal needs and requests are accommodated for. Our teachers possess comprehensive knowledge of both the Early Years Learning Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, that offers every child the opportunity to succeed.
Located within Melbourne’ growing Cranbourne community, the centre has already formed connections with local businesses, shops, and primary schools in the area. With community at the heart of everything we do at Aspire, our centre’s host a range of community events, internal celebrations and cultural programs throughout the year for families. These events ensure the children can be part of the community throughout their entire early learning journey.
Aspire Berwick Waters offer regular incursion programs that provide fun and engaging educational and learning experiences for the children. These include:
The centre also offers one-off incursion programs throughout the term including reptile incursions, butterfly incursions, digeridoo incursions, body safety incursions and more.
Aspire also offer engaging and exciting excursions for the children throughout the year. Aspire Berwick Waters run various excursions including trips to the local park and sanctuary, local primary schools, Bunjil library, Myuna Farm, Scienceworks and more. These excursions further bolster the learning of students in every age group, as they align with Aspire's curriculum and the interests of the children.
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten centres provide nutritious daily meals to each child. Meals adhere to the Nutrition Australia Dietary Guidelines, ensuring that each child, regardless of dietary requirements, receives delicious meals each day. Aspire's amazing chefs also love to create special moments for our children and staff, making birthday cakes or delicious spreads of food to celebrate special occasions.
Our purpose-built facility sets the benchmark for early learning centres and caters to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Our centre’s unique design features high ceilings and glass windows around the entirety, giving it a very open and modern feel. The eight learning spaces also have design features fit for each age group. These rooms foster a tailored curriculum throughout all stages of learning.
Within our eight well-equipped indoor rooms, children participate in a range of daily activities including arts and craft, music, sports, reading and more. We have a beautiful, architecturally designed outdoor space that connects seamlessly with our indoor rooms. This makes it easy for children to move between the indoor and outdoor spaces, supporting a holistic learning experience for the children.
The spacious outdoor yard features a playground with different areas for each age group. Children are free to explore the outdoor environments including sand pits, veggie gardens, rock climbing features, and the playground. Additionally, our programs actively promote the message of environmental consciousness and sustainability.
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten have four main programs, tailored to each stage of early development. At Aspire, our quality education programs are designed to guide children’s learning and development, by encouraging them to explore, discover and connect with others.
Our Baby Steps Nursery Program provides a nurturing environment, with daily activities and intentional teaching opportunities to support your child to reach developmental milestones. Our play-based learning approach allows children to learn through sensory play, as well as build a foundation for future learning.
The Little Learners Toddler Program is designed to create an engaging environment that supports your toddler’s social and cognitive development. We provide a fun, play-based learning approach that engages their young and active minds within a safe and stimulating environment.
Aspire Early Education Berwick Waters has a robust Pre-Kinder and Kinder program to support children's growth and development as they step into primary school. Our play-based programs are designed by kindergarten teachers, as well as early primary school teachers. The teaching team also considers what the children are interested in learning about, and tailors activities, topics and learning opportunities around these interests. Inquiry-based learning helps children develop new hobbies and makes them feel as if their interests are listened to. This ensures that the children in our care receive an education that will allow them to thrive and prepare them for future education.
The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of free kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care kindergarten program.
As of 2025 families can save up to $2,050 a year for eligible children aged three years old and above in eligible long daycares. This is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy. Use our CCS Calculator to estimate your child care subsidy & out-of-pocket costs.
The Free Kinder program is designed to ensure all children access the benefits of early learning and give them a strong foundation for a successful school experience.
My name is Sashika, and I am one of the Co-Directors at Aspire Berwick Waters. I moved to Australia with my husband in 2013 and have worked as an early childhood educator for ten years. I have completed my Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching and have been the centre director since 2022.
Children must feel safe to learn, explore, discover and imagine within that environment. As the future of this world, children should have endless opportunities to explore and experiment with experiences so they can learn through their many adventures. The experiences must be open-ended, process-oriented and relate to the children's interests. I like the Centre Director role because I can lead and empower our educators and form lasting bonds with the parents. I love the children and educators; Aspire Berwick Waters is a perfect place for the children, families and educators as we make a nurturing environment for everyone as a family away from home.
