Located next to the new Kallo Town Centre, our Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten Kalkallo centre is conveniently located for families who are looking for childcare. Our centre is next to the local primary school, reserve and is a six-minute drive to the nearest train station. Our Aspire Kalkallo centre has nine spacious rooms that support children through their entire learning journey, catering for children aged six weeks to six years old.
Our Kalkallo centre is staffed by a team of experienced and fully qualified educators, who are committed to providing the best possible care for every child. We work in close collaboration with families and ensure that any personal needs and requests are accommodated for. Our teachers possess comprehensive knowledge of both the Early Years Learning Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, that offers every child the opportunity to succeed.
As one of Aspire’s centres in Melbourne’s North, Aspire Kalkallo recognises the important role that community plays in a child’s development. Because of this, the team have actively engaged in connecting with Kallo Town’s local businesses, local primary schools and the community centre. Aspire Kalkallo has a strong connection with Gilgai Plains Primary School, where the kinder children have participated in excursions to the school, supporting their school readiness.
The centre also hosts a range of community events, internal celebrations and inclusive cultural programs, that ensure the children can be part of the community throughout their early learning journey. As the Kalkallo community expands over the coming years, the centre is excited to have an even bigger impact in the community.
We offer exciting incursion programs at Aspire that provide new experiences for the children and help them develop new interests and skills. These cover sport, music, art and drama, and are a highlight for the children at Aspire.
The centre also offers one-off incursion programs throughout the term including reptile incursions, butterfly incursions, recycling incursions, cooking incursions and more.
Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten centres frequently run engaging and exciting excursions throughout the year. This differs from centre to centre, but may include excursions such as Bush Kinder, farm visits, walking to a local park or to local primary schools. These excursions further bolster the learning of students in every age group, as they align with Aspire's curriculum and the interests of the children.
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten centres provide nutritious daily meals to each child. Meals adhere to the Nutrition Australia Dietary Guidelines, ensuring that each child, regardless of dietary requirements, receives delicious meals each day. Aspire's amazing chefs also love to create special moments for our children and staff, making birthday cakes or delicious spreads of food to celebrate special occasions.
Our purpose-built facility sets the benchmark for early learning centres and caters to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Aspire Kalkallo is one of our biggest centres with nine learning spaces, fit for each different age group. These rooms foster a tailored curriculum throughout all stages of learning and are designed to help your child grow and thrive.
Within our nine well-equipped indoor rooms, children participate in a range of daily activities including arts and craft, music, sports, reading and more. We have a beautiful, architecturally designed outdoor space that connects seamlessly with our indoor rooms. This makes it easy for children to move between the indoor and outdoor spaces, supporting a holistic learning experience for the children.
The spacious outdoor yard features a playground with different areas for each age group. The standout of the outdoor yard is Kalkallo’s cute Kombi van – the first of our Aspire centres! Children are free to explore the Kombi van as well as the other outdoor environments including sand pits, veggie gardens, rock climbing features, and more. Additionally, our programs actively promote the message of environmental consciousness and sustainability.
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten have four main programs, tailored to each stage of early development. At Aspire, our quality education programs are designed to guide children’s learning and development, by encouraging them to explore, discover and connect with others.
Our Baby Steps Nursery Program provides a nurturing environment, with daily activities and intentional teaching opportunities to support your child to reach developmental milestones. Our play-based learning approach allows children to learn through sensory play, as well as build a foundation for future learning.
The Little Learners Toddler Program is designed to create an engaging environment that supports your toddler’s social and cognitive development. We provide a fun, play-based learning approach that engages their young and active minds within a safe and stimulating environment.
Aspire Early Education Kalkallo has a robust Pre-Kinder and Kinder program to support children's growth and development as they step into primary school. Our play-based programs are designed by kindergarten teachers, as well as early primary school teachers. The teaching team also considers what the children are interested in learning about, and tailors activities, topics and learning opportunities around these interests. Inquiry-based learning helps children develop new hobbies and makes them feel as if their interests are listened to. This ensures that the children in our care receive an education that will allow them to thrive and prepare them for future education.
The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of free kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care kindergarten program.
As of 2025 families can save up to $2,101 a year for eligible children aged three years old and above in eligible long daycares. This is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy. Use our CCS Calculator to estimate your child care subsidy & out-of-pocket costs.
The Free Kinder program is designed to ensure all children access the benefits of early learning and give them a strong foundation for a successful school experience.
Hi there, I'm Ebru Dağlı, though most people know me as Ebs. Since beginning my career in early childhood education in 2019, I have progressed through various roles, starting as a Trainee Educator and advancing through positions such as Assistant Educator, Lead Educator/3IC, Assistant Service Manager, and now, I proudly serve as a Centre Manager.
With a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care under my belt, my commitment to early education is more than just professional; it's a personal passion. My strongest passion lies in forging meaningful relationships with children and their families. Ensuring that every child feels welcome and valued for their unique selves as soon as they enter our centre is my foremost goal. I take great joy in observing children as they navigate and overcome challenges, scaffolding their learning experiences to foster growth and development. Outside of work my partner and I enjoy adventuring and exploring with our fur baby Milo, and our weekends consist of soccer and other sports. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!
