Aspire Wollert is a state-of-the-art facility with beautiful indoor and outdoor environments for children to learn and grow in. The 8 spacious rooms in the centre supports children through their entire learning journey, catering for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. The indoor rooms connect seamlessly to the spacious outdoor environment featuring a large playground, rope bridge and vegetable garden.
Mealtimes, along with our Aspire sustainability program which features edible gardens and children’s cooking classes, are hosted in our piazza. This space will bring our community of children together to share learning experiences that occur during these important times. Shared time across multiple age groups allows diverse relationships to flourish. Older children develop responsibility, increase their confidence and independence skills as they model positive behaviours. This supports the younger children throughout these learning experiences. Younger children also benefit immensely from this, as they mimic the positive behaviours of older children. Because of this, it propels the development of their confidence and independence.
Aspire Wollert has a great relationship with our neighbouring local pool. In terms one and four, our Funded Kindergarten children have the opportunity to take part in water safety lessons. During this time, they learn how to swim, hold their breath under water, as well as learn water safety principles. The children love their water safety lessons, and look forward to them every summer!
