Aspire Wollert is a state-of-the-art childcare centre located within The Village precinct in the City of Whittlesea. Our centre is ideal for families seeking long daycare in a convenient location. The 8 spacious rooms support children through their entire learning journey, catering for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. The indoor rooms connect seamlessly to the spacious outdoor environment featuring a large playground, rope bridge and vegetable garden.

Our Wollert childcare centre is staffed by a team of experienced and fully qualified educators who are committed to providing the best possible care for every child. We work in close collaboration with families and ensure that any personal needs and requests are accommodated. Our teachers possess comprehensive knowledge of both the Early Years Learning Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, which offers every child the opportunity to succeed.

Childcare Centre Highlights

We offer exciting incursion programs at Aspire Wollert that provide new experiences for the children and help them develop new interests and skills. These cover sport, music, art and drama, and are a highlight for the children at Aspire.

The centre also offers one-off incursion programs throughout the term. Some recent standouts include:

  • Dental checks and visits
  • Aussie Wildlife Displays
  • Local CFA incursion

Aspire childcare centres frequently run engaging and exciting excursions throughout the year. The Wollert children particularly love their yearly swimming lessons at the local Kingswim swimming pool.

Other excursions may include Bush Kinder, farm visits, walking to a local park or to local primary schools.

These excursions further bolster the learning of students in every age group, as they align with Aspire's curriculum and the interests of the children.

At Aspire Wollert, our in-centre chef prepares fresh and nutritious meals every day, guided by the Australian Dietary Guidelines. Our approach to food focuses on variety, balance, and mindful eating to support children’s healthy growth and development.

We focus on variety, balance and whole foods with each meal containing vegetables, fruit, whole grains, lean proteins and dairy. Our chefs also make mealtimes special, whether it's baking a birthday cake or preparing a festive spread to celebrate an occasion. Food is a meaningful and joyful part of our community.

Childcare Centre Facilities

Aspire’s purpose-built childcare facility sets the benchmark for early learning centres and caters to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. The eight learning spaces have design features fit for each age group. These rooms foster a tailored curriculum throughout all stages of learning. Designed to help your child learn and grow, they will quickly develop a love of learning and a sense of community in their rooms. This is exemplified by all our children, whether they are starting in nursery or attending our Kindergarten program. 

The Piazza is the meeting place at Aspire Wollert. The area has been recently updated to include a display on the history of the childcare centre, and is a fantastic space to share the work and art that the children create. This area is utilised in several ways, including cooking classes, family and community events, and incursions. The piazza fosters a sense of community, allowing children of different ages to learn together, especially during shared activities.

We have a beautiful, architecturally designed outdoor space that connects seamlessly with our indoor rooms. There is a lot to explore in Aspire Wollert’s exciting playground and outdoor area. Children are free to explore our range of outdoor environments, including sand pits, vegetable gardens, slides, cubby houses and a large adventure playground.

Early Education Programs

Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten operates in a long daycare setting and has four main education programs, tailored to each stage of early development. At Aspire, our quality education programs are designed to guide children’s learning and development by encouraging them to explore, discover and connect with others.

Our Baby Steps Nursery Program provides a nurturing environment, with daily activities and intentional teaching opportunities to support your child in reaching developmental milestones. Our play-based learning approach allows children to learn through sensory play, as well as build a foundation for future learning.

The Little Learners Toddler Program is designed to create an engaging environment that supports your toddler’s social and cognitive development. We provide a fun, play-based learning approach that engages their young and active minds within a safe and stimulating environment.

Aspire’s Kickstart to Kinder program is specially designed for three-year-olds, offering a warm and engaging introduction to their kindergarten journey. Created in collaboration with kindergarten and local primary school teachers, the program supports each child’s social, emotional and early literacy development.

With a balance of structured and play-based learning, children are encouraged to explore their interests, build confidence and develop independence. This approach helps lay the foundation for a smooth transition into four-year-old kindergarten and a lifelong love of learning.

Aspire’s Step into Prep program is designed for four-year-olds to confidently prepare for primary school in a supportive and stimulating environment. Building on skills developed in earlier years, the program focuses on independence, communication, and critical thinking.

The program combines hands-on activities with intentional learning experiences designed to nurture curiosity and resilience. Our educators work closely with each child, tailoring support to their strengths and interests. This thoughtful approach helps children feel confident and ready to embrace the challenges and excitement of primary school.

Funded Kinder & Childcare Subsidy

Aspire is a government-approved provider eligible for childcare subsidy (CCS) and funded kindergarten. The funding offsets the fees for eligible three and four-year-old children who are part of the centre's long daycare kindergarten program.

This ensures all children can access quality early learning and build a strong foundation for school.

  • Save up to $2,101 per year per eligible child with CCS
  • Receive up to 15 hours of free kinder a week on top of CCS
  • Families then pay only the remaining gap fee

Centre Manager

Kelly Mills

Hello! I’m Kelly Mills, Aspire Wollert’s Centre Manager. With over 25 years of experience in early childhood education, I have dedicated my career to nurturing children's growth and development.

I began my journey in 2000 as a Certificate III trainee and have since progressed through various roles, including Assistant Educator, Room Leader, and Assistant Centre Manager, ultimately becoming a Centre Manager. My experience spans sessional kindergartens, long daycares, and primary schools, enriching my understanding of early childhood education.

I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and I'm deeply passionate about fostering inclusive environments for all children. At Aspire, I am grateful for the support provided not only to children and families but also to the educators working alongside them. The Aspire value that resonates with me most is Building Trust, as I believe trust is essential for meaningful relationships. We strive for open communication, transparency, and reliability, ensuring that families and communities see us as dedicated partners in the journey of raising and educating children.

My leadership approach is centred on being transparent, approachable, and committed to going above and beyond for my team and the families we serve. Originally from Sydney, I have also lived in Queensland and the Northern Territory, but now happily call Melbourne home. I look forward to continuing my journey in early childhood education and making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families at Aspire Wollert.

Jasmine Abdallah

Hi there, my name is Jasmine Abdallah, and I am the Head of Curriculum at Aspire Wollert! I have a deep passion for early education and creating environments where both children and educators thrive.

What I love most about working at Aspire is the incredible support I receive. It’s a truly inclusive environment that advocates for children and prioritises their wellbeing and learning. I’m proud to be part of a team that not only values individual growth but actively works to uplift and empower each educator to succeed.

The Aspire value that resonates most with me is Empowering Excellence. I believe in the importance of investing in our people, creating opportunities for growth, learning, and achievement. When educators feel supported and inspired, it directly enhances the quality of care and education we provide.

Over the last five years of working in the early childhood sector, I have progressed from Educator to Lead Educator to Educational Leader and now to Head of Curriculum. I have worked across all age groups, gaining valuable insights into their learning needs. I’ve also had the privilege of mentoring other educators, helping them grow professionally and confidently lead their practice. I am currently working towards my Bachelor of Education and a Certificate in Child Psychology to continually enhance my knowledge and apply an evidence-based approach in my role.

I am bilingual and speak Arabic and English. I am also learning Spanish to broaden my linguistic skills!
