Centre Highlights

Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten centres offer regular incursion programs that provide fun and engaging educational and learning experiences for the children. Some stand-outs include a visit from a butterfly incursion program, Healthy Harold and an Australian animal incursion, amongst many others.

Aspire runs engaging and exciting excursions throughout the year. This differs from centre to centre but may include excursions such as Bush Kinder, farm visits, walking to a local park or to local primary schools. These excursions further strengthen the learning of students in every age group, as they align with Aspire's curriculum and the interests of the children.

Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten centres provide nutritious daily meals to each child. Meals adhere to the Nutrition Australia Dietary Guidelines, ensuring that each child, regardless of dietary requirements, receives delicious meals each day. Aspire's amazing chefs also love to create special moments for our children and staff, making birthday cakes or delicious spreads of food to celebrate special occasions.

Centre Facilities

Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten Ashbury has a fully equipped nursery on site, along with a commercial kitchen, learning rooms and a lush green space. With plenty of room to play, learn and explore in the centre’s eight rooms, your child will soon feel at home amongst their peers throughout our educational programs.

The piazza is a hub for mealtimes and the centre’s sustainability programs, which include edible gardens and cooking classes for children. This space fosters a sense of community, allowing children of different ages to learn together. Older children develop responsibility and confidence by modelling positive behaviours for their younger peers, while younger children enhance their own confidence and independence by mimicking these behaviours.

The spacious outdoor yard features a playground with different areas for each age group. Children are free to explore the outdoor environments including playground areas, sand pits, veggie gardens, rock climbing features, and more. Additionally, our programs actively promote the message of environmental consciousness and sustainability.

Aspire Ashbury, Armstrong Creek Programs

Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten have four main programs, tailored to each stage of early development. At Aspire, our quality education programs are designed to guide children’s learning and development, by encouraging them to explore, discover and connect with others.

Our Baby Steps Nursery Program provides a nurturing environment, with daily activities and intentional teaching opportunities to support your child to reach developmental milestones. Our play-based learning approach allows children to learn through sensory play, as well as build a foundation for future learning.

The Little Learners Toddler Program is designed to create an engaging environment that supports your toddler’s social and cognitive development. We provide a fun, play-based learning approach that engages their young and active minds within a safe and stimulating environment.

Aspire Early Education Ashbury, Armstrong Creek has a robust Pre-Kinder and Kinder program to support children's growth and development as they step into primary school. Our play-based programs are designed by kindergarten teachers, as well as early primary school teachers. The teaching team also considers what the children are interested in learning about, and tailors activities, topics and learning opportunities around these interests. Inquiry-based learning helps children develop new hobbies and makes them feel as if their interests are listened to. This ensures that the children in our care receive an education that will allow them to thrive and prepare them for future education.

The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of free kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care kindergarten program.

As of 2025 families will save up to $2,101 a year for eligible children aged three years old and above in eligible long daycares. This is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy. Use our CCS Calculator to estimate your child care subsidy & out-of-pocket costs.

The Free Kinder program is designed to ensure all children access the benefits of early learning and give them a strong foundation for a successful school experience.

Meet the Centre Manager for Ashbury, Armstrong Creek

Shelby Biggs

Hi there, I’m Shelby! With over 11 years of experience in the early learning field, I’ve had the privilege of working in various roles, from directly engaging with children to taking on educational leadership and management positions. This journey has brought me to the Aspire Early Education team, where I am excited to be the Centre Manager for the newly opening Ashbury, Armstrong Creek centre.

I am deeply passionate about guiding and supporting each child’s early learning journey. It’s incredibly special to be part of their exploration of connections to people, places, and experiences that help shape their understanding of themselves and the world around them. I look forward to working closely with our families and children to create a nurturing, respectful, and inclusive environment where everyone feels safe and supported as we embark on this journey together.

Outside of work, I love making memories with my son, whether we're searching for pirate treasure at the beach, hiding from dragons, dancing, walking our two labradors, or exploring bush country on camping trips.

What Our Families Have To Say

★★★★★

All the staff are truly amazing. They create such a warm and comfortable environment as soon as you walk through the door. They have shown nothing but kindness, support and generosity in the short time my daughter has been at the centre. I know she is in such good hands and look forward to watching her learn and grow over the next few years.

Love Aspire Childcare Centre! I have sent both my girls here and they have loved being a part of this big family! My eldest daughter has since graduated from the centre and gone on to primary school. She still asks and talks about the educators and friends she has made at the centre. My youngest still attends and looks forward to every day I take her. She is always greeted with big hugs and smiles from educators upon arrival. She has so much fun at the centre. The children are always doing some sort of fun learning activities and when it comes to pick-up time at the end of day my little one never wants to leave! I can't thank the lovely educators enough for all their hard work love and care they put into looking after all of our children! Thank you so much!

All I can say is Aspire is such an amazing centre! I have been through a few different daycares with my other children in the past and this one is by far the best! I can 100% say I trust the carers and know that my lil one is in fantastic hands. The freedom they get allows my daughter to have fun doing what she wants, they keep her happy and content throughout the whole day. If you're searching for a daycare facility you definitely need to check them out! 5/5

Our experience at Aspire has been nothing but positive.  We feel so welcomed by their team and our son has made an instant connection with his educators.  Excellent communication and care.  Can’t recommend them highly enough.  He’s been there since they opened and has been in three rooms over that time and his skills just seem to jump exponentially each time he’s moved up.  He’s built meaningful relationships with his educators and they all know us and are happy to talk to us - even those who aren’t in his room greet us with a smile.  I’ve recommended it to anyone who has asked for child care in the area because I’m just so impressed.

We have had a wonderful experience to date with Aspire. The team have been welcoming and informative from the day we toured the centre. We receive great communication and support from management. My daughter loves her room educators who are caring, passionate and creative. I appreciate the attention to detail with the daily photo highlights and journals as well reading her individual learning stories and term goals.
