Aspire Deanside Village is our second childcare centre in Deanside, supporting families and children in this fast-growing suburb.
Located within the Bowery Estate and directly opposite Deanside Primary School, our childcare centre makes school and daycare drop-offs and pick-ups simple and convenient. We have built a strong partnership with the school, ensuring children transition smoothly between home, childcare, and school.
At Aspire Deanside Village Childcare Centre, our fully qualified educators deliver nurturing, high-quality care every day. We collaborate with families to meet each child’s unique needs, creating a personalised and engaging learning experience.
Our kindergarten teachers have deep expertise in both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF). This ensures every child receives the guidance and support they need to thrive, grow, and succeed.
We actively connect children and families with the wider community through meaningful experiences and partnerships. Children learn about safety, explore how the community works, and enjoy visits from familiar local faces. These activities make learning come alive and help every child feel part of their neighbourhood.
Our community programs include:
The highlight of Aspire Deanside Village is the Zenmobile. The childcare centre transformed the incredible bus playground in the kindergarten yard into a quiet space for children who need to regulate their emotions, or for those who want to take part in quiet play.
Aspire childcare centres frequently run engaging and exciting excursions throughout the year. This differs from centre to centre, but may include excursions such as Bush Kinder, farm visits, walking to a local park or to local primary schools. These excursions further bolster the learning of students in every age group, as they align with Aspire's curriculum and the interests of the children.
The daycare centre also hosts many fun and educational incursions throughout the year. Some stand-outs include:
At Aspire Deanside Village, our in-centre chef prepares fresh and nutritious meals every day, guided by the Australian Dietary Guidelines. Our approach to food focuses on variety, balance, and mindful eating to support children’s healthy growth and development.
We focus on variety, balance and whole foods with each meal containing vegetables, fruit, whole grains, lean proteins and dairy. Our chefs also make mealtimes special, whether it's baking a birthday cake or preparing a festive spread to celebrate an occasion. Food is a meaningful and joyful part of our community.
Aspire Deanside Village's purpose-built rooms are designed to support every stage of your child’s early learning journey. Each room is filled with high-quality educational toys, books, crafts, and imaginative play experiences, ensuring endless opportunities for discovery and fun every day! We collaborate closely with families and ensure that any personal needs and requests are accommodated.
Our service is a state-of-the-art facility with beautiful indoor and outdoor environments for children to learn and grow in. We have a beautiful, architecturally designed outdoor space that connects seamlessly with our indoor rooms. This makes it easy for children to move between the indoor and outdoor spaces, supporting a holistic learning experience for the children.
A feature of Aspire Deanside Village is the spacious Piazza area. The piazza serves as a versatile space for various multi-age group activities, including centre events, incursions, collaborative learning experiences and shared meals. This beautiful space encourages children of all ages to connect, fostering friendships and interactions across different age groups.
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten operates in a long daycare setting and has four main education programs, tailored to each stage of early development. At Aspire, our quality education programs are designed to guide children’s learning and development by encouraging them to explore, discover and connect with others.
Our Baby Steps Nursery Program provides a nurturing environment, with daily activities and intentional teaching opportunities to support your child to reach developmental milestones. Our play-based learning approach allows children to learn through sensory play, as well as build a foundation for future learning.
The Little Learners Toddler Program is designed to create an engaging environment that supports your toddler’s social and cognitive development. We provide a fun, play-based learning approach that engages their young and active minds within a safe and stimulating environment.
Aspire’s Kickstart to Kinder program is specially designed for three-year-olds, offering a warm and engaging introduction to their kindergarten journey. Created in collaboration with kindergarten and local primary school teachers, the program supports each child’s social, emotional and early literacy development.
With a balance of structured and play-based learning, children are encouraged to explore their interests, build confidence and develop independence. This approach helps lay the foundation for a smooth transition into four-year-old kindergarten and a lifelong love of learning.
Aspire’s Step into Prep program is designed for four-year-olds to confidently prepare for primary school in a supportive and stimulating environment. Building on skills developed in earlier years, the program focuses on independence, communication, and critical thinking.
The program combines hands-on activities with intentional learning experiences designed to nurture curiosity and resilience. Our educators work closely with each child, tailoring support to their strengths and interests. This thoughtful approach helps children feel confident and ready to embrace the challenges and excitement of primary school.
The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families with up to 15 hours of free kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long daycare kindergarten program.
As of 2025, families can save up to $2,101 a year for eligible children aged three years old and above in eligible long daycares. This is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy. Use our CCS Calculator to estimate your child care subsidy & out-of-pocket costs.
The Free Kinder program is designed to ensure all children have access to the benefits of early learning and give them a strong foundation for a successful school experience.

I’m Andrea Barry, and I am so excited to be the new Centre Manager at Aspire Deanside Village!
I absolutely love working for Aspire. The support, growth opportunities, and professional development they provide are truly outstanding. It’s a workplace where I feel valued, empowered, and inspired to continue growing in my career.
One of Aspire’s values that resonates with me personally is “Building Trust”. Trust is the foundation of all meaningful relationships. I prioritise open communication and transparency with all team members, parents and guardians, working in partnership with them to ensure each child’s individual needs are met and celebrated.
My career in early childhood education began in 2006. I started as a trainee working towards my Certificate III and progressed through my Diploma to become a dedicated and experienced leader in the sector. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve held various leadership roles, including Centre Manager.
My passion lies in creating nurturing, high-quality learning environments where children feel safe, supported, and inspired. I take pride in leading teams with integrity, fostering strong relationships with families, and upholding child-safe practices.
As someone who grew up in the local area and has worked here for over 15 years, I understand what families in the area prioritise and need. I look forward to getting to know each of our families and seeing your children thrive.

Hi, my name is Sonbinder Kaur Brar, and I’m the Head of Curriculum at Aspire Deanside Village.
I’m proud to be part of Aspire Early Education, where a strong focus on professional development, teamwork, and community sets us apart. The Aspire value that resonates most with me is “Aspire to Grow,” which reflects my belief in continuous growth for both children and educators. I’m passionate about mentoring educators through reflective practice and aligning our work with the Early Years Learning Framework.
I began my journey in early childhood education in 2010 as a student completing my Certificate III. Since then, I’ve completed my Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, and over the past 12 years, I’ve held various leadership roles, including 2IC and Educational Leader.
Strong partnerships with families are at the heart of what I do. I prioritise open, respectful communication to build trust and create a sense of community. I’m also passionate about supporting children’s emotional and social development, and I ensure our curriculum is culturally responsive and inclusive. I recognise families as children's first and most influential teachers, and prioritise building strong, reciprocal relationships with parents and caregivers.
I look forward to meeting you and supporting your child’s journey at Aspire!
