Funded Kinder now Available at Aspire Deanside Village

Great news for Aspire Deanside Village families, Funded Kinder is now available for 3-4-year-old kindergarten programs! The Free Kinder Program is now available for all families to access high-quality learning opportunities at a reduced cost.
The Victorian Government offers funding to give families up to 15 hours of free kindergarten a week. Alternatively, the funding covers up to 600 hours of care per year. This equates to up to $2,101 saved per year on your child’s yearly kinder fees. This is on top of the Australian Government Childcare Subsidy (CCS). With increased funding available for children, this supports vital learning and development during their early years. This establishes a strong foundation for a successful transition to school and beyond.
Funded Kinder is for all families, and there is no need for a Health Care Card, Australian citizenship, a Pension Card, or proof of address. You also don’t need to be eligible for CCS to receive up to 15 hours of free kinder per week.
Families can only access Free Kinder at one service at a time, so if your child attends another service other than Aspire Deanside Village, you must inform each service of where you want to receive the funding.

At Deanside Village, kinder looks like a lot of learning through play, exciting incursions, and a dedicated team to help the development and growth of each child. Recently, the kinder children had a groovy time with the team from Junkyard Beats. In the hands of Junkyard Beats, ordinary household items are transformed into musical instruments. This creates a body-shaking, toe-tapping, electric atmosphere that makes children want to get up and move!
The children loved playing with maracas made from recycled drink bottles. They created their own beats, danced and clapped. Throughout the incursion, they learned about sustainability, teamwork and creativity. This incursion is just one of many that run as a part of Deanside Village’s Kindergarten program.
