The daycare centre also offers one-off incursion programs throughout the term, including reptile incursions, butterfly incursions, didgeridoo incursions, body safety incursions and more.
Aspire also offer engaging and exciting excursions for the children throughout the year. Aspire Berwick Waters runs various excursions, including trips to the local park and sanctuary, local primary schools, Bunjil library, Myuna Farm, Scienceworks and more. These excursions further bolster the learning of students in every age group, as they align with Aspire's curriculum and the interests of the children.
Aspire childcare centres provide nutritious daily meals to each child. Meals adhere to the Nutrition Australia Dietary Guidelines, ensuring that each child, regardless of dietary requirements, receives delicious meals each day. Aspire's amazing chefs also love to create special moments for our children and staff, making birthday cakes or delicious spreads of food to celebrate special occasions.
Our purpose-built facility sets the benchmark for early learning centres and caters to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Our childcare centre’s unique design features high ceilings and glass windows around the entirety, giving it a very open and modern feel. The eight learning spaces also have design features fit for each age group. These rooms foster a tailored curriculum throughout all stages of learning.
Within our eight well-equipped indoor rooms, children participate in a range of daily activities including arts and craft, music, sports, reading and more. We have a beautiful, architecturally designed outdoor space that connects seamlessly with our indoor rooms. This makes it easy for children to move between the indoor and outdoor spaces, supporting a holistic learning experience for the children.
The spacious outdoor yard features a playground with different areas for each age group. Children are free to explore the outdoor environments including sand pits, veggie gardens, rock climbing features, and the playground. Additionally, our programs actively promote the message of environmental consciousness and sustainability.
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten operates in a long daycare setting and has four main education programs, tailored to each stage of early development. At Aspire, our quality education programs are designed to guide children’s learning and development by encouraging them to explore, discover and connect with others.
Our Baby Steps Nursery Program provides a nurturing environment, with daily activities and intentional teaching opportunities to support your child to reach developmental milestones. Our play-based learning approach allows children to learn through sensory play, as well as build a foundation for future learning.
The Little Learners Toddler Program is designed to create an engaging environment that supports your toddler’s social and cognitive development. We provide a fun, play-based learning approach that engages their young and active minds within a safe and stimulating environment.
Aspire’s Kickstart to Kinder program is specially designed for three-year-olds, offering a warm and engaging introduction to their kindergarten journey. Created in collaboration with kindergarten and local primary school teachers, the program supports each child’s social, emotional and early literacy development.
With a balance of structured and play-based learning, children are encouraged to explore their interests, build confidence and develop independence. This approach helps lay the foundation for a smooth transition into four-year-old kindergarten and a lifelong love of learning.
Aspire’s Step into Prep program is designed for four-year-olds to confidently prepare for primary school in a supportive and stimulating environment. Building on skills developed in earlier years, the program focuses on independence, communication, and critical thinking.
The program combines hands-on activities with intentional learning experiences designed to nurture curiosity and resilience. Our educators work closely with each child, tailoring support to their strengths and interests. This thoughtful approach helps children feel confident and ready to embrace the challenges and excitement of primary school.

Hi! My name is Kristin, I have 3 boys and I am excited to join the Berwick Waters community with over 16 years of experience in the early childhood education sector.
I began my journey at the very beginning and have worked my way into leadership roles, which I have held for the past six years. I bring with me not only extensive knowledge, but also a deep passion for ensuring every child has a voice and the right to a safe, secure and supportive learning environment.
Our families and wider community are the foundation of everything we do, and together we support each child to achieve their best. Through open and effective communication, I will work closely with our team, families and children to ensure our educators create a true home away from home. I believe every child learns in different ways, and by honouring each child’s choices and individuality, we build a strong and supportive foundation for lifelong learning.
You will find me in the office and throughout the rooms, supporting the team and getting to know all the new faces. I look forward to meeting you all and sharing this journey through your child’s most important years.

Hi, I’m Thelini, the Head of Curriculum at Aspire Berwick Waters.
I joined Aspire in 2020, drawn to its ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional early childhood education, and strong values and clear vision. I began my career as a 4-year-old Kindergarten Teacher in 2020 and in 2023, I stepped into my current role.
I hold a Bachelor’s qualification in teaching and have also completed two teaching diplomas. Alongside this, I bring valuable teaching experience since 2011, which has shaped my deep understanding of children’s learning and the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with families and educators.
The Aspire value that resonates most with me is Empowering Excellence. It reflects my dedication to nurturing high-quality practices, supporting children to feel safe, respected, and confident as they explore and grow, and mentoring educators so they feel valued, capable, and inspired to contribute to a positive team culture.
Outside of work, I enjoy music and staying active through sports, which help me stay balanced and bring fresh energy to everything I do.
