At Aspire Ramlegh, we have designed our kindergarten rooms and play spaces in a way that is engaging and stimulating for our young children. Our spacious kinder rooms have various play areas that include an art and craft area, toy and construction area, science and exploration area, reading area and more. This are set up intentionally to create a range of experiences that promote the children’s learning and development.
In addition to the indoor rooms, the Ramlegh centre also has a kinder yard that they set up with different experiences. They utilise a range of indoor and sustainable resources and bring them outdoors to spark children’s interest and exploration. They also have a sustainability yard outside the kinder room, which allows children to explore their imagination in their natural environment. See some photos below of Ramlegh’s fun and engaging indoor and outdoor spaces!
The Kinder children at Ramlegh love exploring their creative side! That’s why the centre offers time for art and creative projects through their daily routines. Recently, the 3-year-old Kinder children created beautiful artworks using thread. They chose a few colours to use and dipped or painted the thread in the colours they wished to choose. They then created a pattern on the sheet of paper with the thread and pulled the string of thread to create their amazing patterned artworks.
As well as sparking their creativity, activities like this are also an excellent challenge for children to strengthen their hand and improve their fine motor skills, coordination, and concentration.

Aspire Ramlegh also recognises the power of hands-on learning experiences. From sensory play to imaginative play and hands-on experiments, children are provided with ample opportunities to explore and learn. Recently the 3-year-old kinder children conducted a floating and sinking experiment, where they collected resources from inside and outdoors and tested whether it floated or sunk. The kinder children have also been focusing on emotions, where they participated in an activity of matching the face together to create a certain emotion.
Through these hands-on activities, the kinder children not only develop understanding, empathy and teamwork skills but also hone essential motor skills and cognitive abilities.

Language development is another critical aspect of Ramlegh’s kinder programs, as it forms the foundation for future literacy and communication skills. Recently, the 4-year-old kinder children have been interested in spelling their names. Using a bunch of letters, the children sorted through them and matched the letters to their name.
This developed their concentration skills and a sense of accomplishment when they completed their names.
The kinder rooms have also been focusing on numeracy, which is a big part of Ramlegh’s kinder school readiness program. During recent group time, they participated in a dice and animal counters activity. Going around the the circle, the children took turns rolling the dice and taking the number of counters the dice showed. For more of a challenge, the children then used two number dice and went around the circle adding numbers together using the animal counters. Through repetition of different math's games and activities the children are able to improve their numeracy skills.
Aspire Ramlegh’s Kindergarten program prepares your child for school and beyond, by developing a broad range of skills that support academic, social, emotional, and physical growth.
Through a range of activities, including group time and excursions to the local community, children have the necessary skills and experiences to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
