Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Donnybrook is a childcare centre located on Donnybrook Road at the gateway to the growing Platform Estate. We are conveniently located close to Donnybrook railway station, Donnybrook Primary school, as well as parks and conservation areas. As one of Melbourne’s suburbs on the rise, we cater to all families who may have recently moved to the area.
Our Donnybrook childcare is staffed by a team of experienced and fully qualified educators who are committed to providing the best possible care for every child. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, our teachers closely collaborate with families and offer every child the opportunity to succeed.
At Aspire Donnybrook, we’re committed to connecting children and families with the wider community through meaningful experiences and partnerships.
Whether it’s learning about safety, understanding how our community works, or simply enjoying a visit from a familiar face. These partnerships help bring learning to life and ensure every child feels part of their local community throughout their early learning journey.
We offer exciting incursion programs at Aspire that provide new experiences for the children and help them develop new interests and skills. At Aspire Donnybrook, we offer an engaging movement program called Magical Days Kindy Dancing run by Magic Jenny on a fortnightly basis.
The centre also offers one-off incursion programs throughout the term. Some recent standouts include:
Aspire childcare centres frequently run engaging and exciting excursions throughout the year. This differs from centre to centre, but may include excursions such as Bush Kinder, farm visits, walking to a local park or to local primary schools. These excursions further bolster the learning of students in every age group, as they align with Aspire's curriculum and the interests of the children.
At Aspire Donnybrook, our in-centre chef prepares fresh and nutritious meals every day, guided by the Australian Dietary Guidelines. Our approach to food focuses on variety, balance, and mindful eating to support children’s healthy growth and development.
We focus on variety, balance and whole foods with each meal containing vegetables, fruit, whole grains, lean proteins and dairy. Our chefs also make mealtimes special, whether it's baking a birthday cake or preparing a festive spread to celebrate an occasion. Food is a meaningful and joyful part of our community.
Our purpose-built facility sets the benchmark for early learning centres and caters to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. The eight learning spaces have design features fit for each age group. These rooms foster a tailored curriculum throughout all stages of learning. Designed to help your child learn and grow, they will quickly develop a love of learning and a sense of community in their rooms.
Within our eight well-equipped indoor rooms, children participate in a range of daily activities including arts and craft, music, sports, reading and more. We have a beautiful, architecturally designed outdoor space that connects seamlessly with our indoor rooms. This makes it easy for children to move between the indoor and outdoor spaces, supporting a holistic learning experience for the children.
The spacious outdoor yard features a playground with different areas for each age group. Children are free to explore the outdoor environments including sand pits, veggie gardens, rock climbing features, and the yellow playground truck! Additionally, our programs actively promote the message of environmental consciousness and sustainability.
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten operates in a long daycare setting and has four main education programs, tailored to each stage of early development. At Aspire, our quality education programs are designed to guide children’s learning and development by encouraging them to explore, discover and connect with others.
Our Baby Steps Nursery Program provides a nurturing environment, with daily activities and intentional teaching opportunities to support your child to reach developmental milestones. Our play-based learning approach allows children to learn through sensory play, as well as build a foundation for future learning.
The Little Learners Toddler Program is designed to create an engaging environment that supports your toddler’s social and cognitive development. We provide a fun, play-based learning approach that engages their young and active minds within a safe and stimulating environment.
Aspire’s Kickstart to Kinder program is specially designed for three-year-olds, offering a warm and engaging introduction to their kindergarten journey. Created in collaboration with kindergarten and local primary school teachers, the program supports each child’s social, emotional and early literacy development.
With a balance of structured and play-based learning, children are encouraged to explore their interests, build confidence and develop independence. This approach helps lay the foundation for a smooth transition into four-year-old kindergarten and a lifelong love of learning.
Aspire’s Step into Prep program is designed for four-year-olds to confidently prepare for primary school in a supportive and stimulating environment. Building on skills developed in earlier years, the program focuses on independence, communication, and critical thinking.
The program combines hands-on activities with intentional learning experiences designed to nurture curiosity and resilience. Our educators work closely with each child, tailoring support to their strengths and interests. This thoughtful approach helps children feel confident and ready to embrace the challenges and excitement of primary school.
The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families with up to 15 hours of free kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long daycare kindergarten program.
As of 2025, families can save up to $2,101 a year for eligible children aged three years old and above in eligible long daycares. This is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy. Use our CCS Calculator to estimate your child care subsidy & out-of-pocket costs.
The Free Kinder program is designed to ensure all children have access to the benefits of early learning and give them a strong foundation for a successful school experience.
Hi, my name is Neeru, and I am the Centre Manager at Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Platform, Donnybrook. I’m a proud mum of two wonderful children and have been working in the early childhood education sector for over 15 years. I began my journey by running my own family day care for five years before transitioning into long day care, where I’ve continued to follow my passion for supporting children and their families.
I absolutely love working with children and creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive. Building strong, meaningful connections with families is something I value deeply, as it plays an important role in each child’s development. This is why Aspire’s core value of Building Trust resonates so strongly with me.
Above all, my unwavering love for children fuels my commitment to nurturing them into compassionate and responsible citizens.
Outside of work, I’m a devoted pet lover. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 birds, and 3 fish who keep life full of pats, love and laughter! My hobbies include painting and crocheting, which allow me to unwind and express my creativity.
I can’t wait to meet you at our Aspire Platform, Donnybrook centre. I am always here to assist!
Hi, I’m Surabhi, and I’ve been working in early childhood education since 2016. Over the past nine years, I’ve had the privilege of working across a variety of early learning environments and school settings, which has helped shape my journey into educational leadership. I’m passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences and supporting both children and educators to thrive.
Being part of the Aspire team is incredibly rewarding. I love how we inspire and nurture children every day, and how we build strong, trusting relationships with families and communities. The Aspire value that resonates most with me is Empowering Excellence. I’m driven by the opportunity to support educators in reaching their full potential and delivering high-quality learning experiences.
My leadership style is inclusive and collaborative. I prioritise building strong relationships, mentoring my team, and creating a safe, engaging environment where children feel confident to explore, learn, and grow. I lead with empathy and purpose, and I’m always looking for ways to innovate and reflect.
One of my biggest passions in early education is mentoring educators. I love helping others discover their strengths and supporting their professional growth—it’s incredibly fulfilling to see educators flourish and make a lasting impact on children’s lives.
Outside of work, I love to go tracking and exploring new places. I can speak English and Hindi, and I am a proud mum of two boys. I’m proud to be part of Aspire Donnybrook, where every day is an opportunity to make a difference.
