Aspire Open Day Events in 2023
2023 was a busy year for Aspire, with many community and open day events that welcomed families and the community to our centres.
Our Aspire Open Day events provide an opportunity for our families and the local community to explore our centre and creatively designed rooms, meet our dedicated educators and learn about our Aspire programs and the day-to-day activities. Interactive display and hands-on activities offer a glimpse into the daily experiences of our children, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
This year we opened two brand new Aspire centres in Deanside and Kalkallo. We were so excited to open these centres to two growing communities in Melbourne. We also held open day events for two of our existing centres to showcase their centre and their growth since opening. Read more about our open day events in 2023 below.
Aspire opened two brand new centres in 2023
In May 2023, we opened our Aspire Deanside centre to the community and celebrated with an Open Day Event. The event was filled with fun and activities and was Aspire’s biggest community event to date. Children loved interacting with the animals at Farmer Daryl's Animal Farm, and getting their hair braided and faces painted. Sporting activities by Little Sports Heroes gave children the opportunity to enjoy fun in the sun. And who could forget the live performance by the Blippi and Emma Wiggle characters? It was amazing for the Aspire Deanside team to meet and connect with so many families in the local area. Read more about the event here.
Then in November 2023, we opened our Aspire Kalkallo centre to the community at the new Kallo Town Centre. The Open Day event was a massive hit with families, with around 500 people attending. Children enjoyed getting their faces painted and taking fun and silly photos at the photo booth. Delicious sweet and savory food was provided by our Aspire team, and we also had a special visit from Paw Patrol! Read more about the event here.

Aspire showcased two of their existing centres to the community
On 23rd July, our Aspire White Hills centre in Bendigo held an open day event to showcase its centre to the Bendigo community and invite their families to enjoy a morning of fun. There were plenty of fun-filled activities including Farmer Daryl's Animal Farm, face painting, food and coffee sampling, and a special guest appearance from the Transformers! Read more here.
Our White Hills centre was acquired in November 2023 and since then it has seen great growth and will continue to build occupancy into 2024.
On 25th November, our Aspire Berwick Waters centre opened its centre to the community to showcase its centre, curriculum and incursions they provide to new families. Berwick Waters four incursion partners, Hey Dee Ho, SketchRoo, Little Sports Heroes’ and ELLA Mandarin attended the day and ran fun activities for children to enjoy. The Berwick Waters team and kitchen staff also provided in-house food sampling, and we had a special visit from the Minions to top it off! Read more here.
