On Friday 1st March, Aspire Berwick Waters held their Community Breakfast Event at their centre, which welcomed local community members, schools and their Aspire families. It was a fabulous morning of engaging and networking, with lots of delicious food made by Chef Hiru.
The centre had local primary schools, their incursion partners, local businesses, Aspire team members and families attend.
A big shout out to the Berwick Waters educators who helped set up and prepare everything for the community. The morning was a great success, and it was amazing to see so many of our community members and families come together. See some photos of the event below!
Our Berwick Waters team are proud to have created such strong connections with their community. Events such as this create a valuable opportunity for the community to meet staff and educators and learn more about Aspire and what they have planned for 2024.
The Importance of Connecting with the Community
Community connections are an incredibly large part of Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten’s identity.
Our community engagement program supports children in being valued members of their community. Our connections with local libraries, primary schools and businesses provide opportunities for excursions, incursions and local events for children and families. Children explore what it looks and feels to explore their local and wider community and what it means to be a global citizen. Families are also provided with the opportunity to build closer relationships with their wider community through internal and external events.
You can read more about some of our other community and family events here.
We currently have very limited vacancies at our Aspire Berwick centres. To learn more about our program and to enrol, contact us on 1800 978 429 or book a tour of the centre.
