Walk for Prems Melbourne 2023

On Sunday 22nd October, the Aspire team participated in the Walk for Prems Melbourne event.

Walk for Prems 2023 is the largest annual fundraiser by Life’s Little Treasures Foundation, Australia’s foremost charity dedicated to supporting the families of babies born sick or premature. It's families helping families. This year Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten was a major sponsor of Walk for Prems.

Life’s Little Treasures Foundation (LLTF) is one of Australia’s leading charities dedicated to providing practical support, information and assistance to families of babies born prematurely or sick. Founded in 2005 by parents who had experienced this first-hand, LLTF truly understands the challenges that these families face.

LLTF’s vision is to ensure that all families enduring the difficult and life changing experience of having a premature/sick baby have easy access to critical information and community support. LLTF services are available in the hospital (neonatal and special care units) and in the community when families come home.

In its 14th year, Walk for Prems took place at nine locations across Australia during the month of October.

Walk for Prems Melbourne took place at Albert Park Lake with participants enjoying a 5km walk. There were plenty of activities for families including face painting, a photo booth, and jumping castles. Children also enjoyed sports activities and sensory play experiences provided by Aspire.

The community is at the heart of all we do and we are so proud to be a part of such a special event supporting LLTF.
