There was excitement in Tarneit over the weekend during Aspire Tarneit Square’s Community Carnival event! The Aspire and wider Tarneit community came together to have fun at the centre, with a variety of activities for children and their families.
The carnival featured a variety of activities that kept both children and parents entertained. Face painting, balloon twisting, and an abundance of delicious food and drinks ensured that families had an amazing time. It was lovely to see so many beautifully painted faces around the event! Families eagerly grabbed the popcorn and fairy floss as soon as staff brought it out, making the food a definite favourite.
One of the highlights was the complimentary ice cream voucher, which was a huge hit among attendees. Gelateria On The Docks had a massive turnout for the day, adding to the event's success.
The children also loved the pony rides on offer in the playground. It was exciting to ride a point around the fun terrain of the outdoor play area, and made for a great time. The horses were very cute and enjoyed getting lots of pats and treats.
A huge shoutout to the Aspire Tarneit Square team for their dedication and hard work. Staff members efficiently floated between areas, ensuring a smooth experience for everyone. Special recognition goes to Vanessa, the Chef, and Erna, an Assistant Educator, who tirelessly made fresh donuts from scratch all day Friday and Saturday. They even started at 7 am, an effort that certainly did not go unnoticed!
The Aspire Tarneit Square Community Carnival was a heartwarming event filled with joy, community spirit, and delicious treats. The positive feedback from families and the success of the day reaffirms Aspire’s commitment to creating meaningful and engaging experiences for the community.
