On Saturday 22nd of November, our brand-new Aspire Weir Views centre welcomed the community to their Open Day! The morning was full of energy, laughter, and a genuine sense of connection as families enjoyed a variety of games, activities, food, and dino-fun! Guests also had the opportunity to tour the centre, meet our wonderful team, and discover firsthand what makes Aspire such a special place for children and families.
We are so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the day unforgettable. If you missed out on the event, below is a recap of some of the best moments!
The Aspire Weir Views Open Day was full of activity and excitement!
We had the amazing Vince and his team from Aussie Wildlife Displays join us with their amazing reptiles and wildlife animals. The children and families were able to get up close with a range of fascinating animals including an amazing snake, lizard, wombat and more. The team guided children through safe, interactive encounters, helping them build confidence, ask questions, and develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
Furthermore, the children were able to get up close with some beayutiful butterflies! The team at Butterlfy Adventures provided a butterfly enclosure which gave the children a safe, unique and personal experience with the butterflies.
The event was also buzzing with creativity thanks to our face painting and henna stations, which quickly became a favourite for children and families alike. Little ones loved transforming into colourful characters—from butterflies to dinosaurs—while our henna artist created beautiful, intricate designs for those wanting something a little different. These activities added a fun, artistic touch to the day and gave families a chance to slow down, connect, and enjoy a moment of creativity together.
Our Open Event was also a wonderful opportunity to tour our brand-new centre, experience fun activities within our rooms, and enjoy our menu sampling - a taste test of our Aspire menu. We are thankful for all the families who took time out of their day to visit our centre.
Our Open Day was brought to life with a special visit from our dinosaur guest characters thanks to XLENT events. (Most!) children were thrilled to meet the friendly “prehistoric” visitors, enjoying plenty of photo moments, roars of excitement, and hands-on interactions. The dino guests helped spark curiosity, imagination, and laughter as families got up close and personal to the dinos! Check out some of the pictures below.
