Open Day Fun at Aspire Lucas!
On Saturday 20th of September, our brand-new Aspire Lucas centre in Ballarat welcomed the community to their Open Day! The day was filled with energy, laughter, and a true sense of community! Families came together for a wonderful morning of activities, crafts, games, and great conversations. Guests had the chance to also tour our brand-new Aspire Lucas centre, meet our amazing Lucas team, and experience what makes Aspire so unique.

The Aspire Lucas Open Day was full of activity and excitement! Families meet some adorable farm animals up close, kids were transformed with vibrant face painting, and photos were snapped at our pop-up photobooth. Learn more abut some of the fun activities!
Thanks to our talented artists, kids were transformed into magical creatures, superheroes, and adorable animals. The team at Sukha Art brought their incredible skills and created stunning designs that captured imaginations. The creativity was endless, and the smiles were unforgettable!
Our friends at Allwright Entertainment added extra fun with their pop-up photo booth, complete with props and plenty of playful energy. Children lit up with excitement as photo strips printed instantly, capturing silly faces, big smiles, and special moments shared with friends and siblings.
A big highlight for the children was definitely the animal farm. Little ones were delighted to meet and feed the animals up close, sparking plenty of curiosity and excitement. From sheep, goats, chickens and guinea pigs, the children loved touching and patting the adorable animals! It was a wonderful way to create memorable moments while encouraging empathy, care, and respect for animals.
A huge thank you to the team at Farm Farm 2 U for sharing the magic of these farm animals and creating such special moments for our community!
We were also delighted to have Kelly Mini Sports join us at our Open Day who brought fantastic energy to the event with their fun, interactive sport activities for little ones. Children had a blast building confidence, coordination, and teamwork skills through engaging games and sports challenges.
And for the non-sport lovers, the team at Hey Dee Ho also captivated children and families with an engaging music and movement session. The session was filled with songs, dances, and plenty of smiles. It was a joyful experience that brought everyone together through the magic of music.
A special shoutout also to The Hippie Whippy who provided delicious soft service ice creams and gelati! Although the weather wasn’t that warm, it didn’t stop the children queuing up for some yummy treats! And thank you to Coffee Will Travel who also provided a caffeine hit for the parents and a hot drink while they explored our centre.
We were thrilled to have THREE special guest appearances at our Lucas Open day, with Bluey and Bingo and The Transformers! Their unexpected visit brought huge smiles, happy squeals, and lots of happy photo moments for kids and parents alike. From warm hugs to playful waves, our special guests made the day unforgettable.
