Head of Curriculum – Dona Iddamalgoda Perera

As the Head of Curriculum at Aspire Clyde North, my journey in early childhood education has been transformative. Graduating from Victoria University, my passion for nurturing young minds led me to Aspire Cranbourne West, where I received invaluable mentorship from Erandathie. Her guidance helped me grow into a confident and competent kindergarten teacher, allowing me to expand my horizons in the field.

Teaching is more than a profession; it's a calling. Witnessing the boundless curiosity and potential of young children daily inspires me to create a nurturing environment where they can develop a love for learning.

Looking ahead, I am eager to continue my personal and professional growth in early childhood education. I aim to make a positive impact on young learners' lives and contribute to advancing early childhood education. I am excited about expanding my career and making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community.

Teaching team: Educator – Ransi Sirimana

I am Ransi from Sri Lanka. I have worked for Clyde North Aspire Childcare Centre since 2022. During this period, I’ve had the opportunity to work in the rooms as an educator as well as in the kitchen as a member of kitchen team.

This centre is amazing because of very supportive director and management team, friendly educators, families, and very loving kids.

Throughout all of the years at Aspire, I have been provided opportunities to sharpen my skills. At every step of the way I had the full support of my director and management team. I’ve made many lifelong friends working here throughout the years.

I love going to work every day, and doing what I am passionate about, taking care of babies as well as working with people who share my passion.

Aspire Clyde North has given me the opportunity to give children a great start in life by providing a safe, nurturing, and trusting environment.

Centre Support Coordinator – Shashika Kuruppu

My name is Shashika Kuruppu, but most people call me Shashi. I began my journey with Aspire in 2021 as a Toddler's Room Leader at the Clyde North Centre. During my time at Clyde North, I have moved into the Centre Support Coordinator Role, which I thoroughly enjoy. I chose Aspire as an early childhood educator because they support educators in achieving their career goals and provides quality care and education to young children. Aspire also fosters strong connections between families and the local community, which is something I highly value.

Since joining, I've received tremendous support from Kylie, Durga, and Anjie, and we enjoy a collaborative and appreciative team environment. The teamwork, support and camaraderie we have at the centre makes coming into work especially enjoyable. Working at Clyde North has truly been an honour. I look forward to succeeding in my career with Aspire and I am a proud member of the Aspire family!

Three-Year-Old Kinder ECT – Angelin Perera

As a kindergarten teacher, I am honoured to witness the incredible growth and development of young minds every day. Starting as a casual educator and now a seasoned professional, my passion for nurturing and educating children has only deepened. After earning my bachelor's degree from Victoria University, I then joined Aspire Clyde North and began my journey in early childhood education.

Over time, I've honed my skills, embraced new teaching methodologies, and deepened my understanding of child development. Working with experienced educators and curious young minds, I find immense joy in creating a nurturing, stimulating environment. At Aspire Clyde North, I've built strong partnerships with parents, contributed to curriculum development, and fostered a supportive space where children feel valued and eager to learn.

My journey from casual educator to professional teacher has been incredibly fulfilling, and I look forward to continuing to inspire and nurture the next generation of learners.
