Meet the Aspire Berwick Waters Team
Aspire to grow, learn, and connect goes beyond what we can teach our children, it is also our vision for our Aspire staff too. And there’s no secret that there is a large network of people who unite Aspire together. Our team at Aspire Berwick Waters is a strong knit team who work together to provide the best care possible in each of our Nursey, Toddler and Kinder Hubs.
Meet some of our Berwick Waters team and management staff and learn about their journey so far.
Shashika - Centre Manager
Sashika is the Centre Manager at Aspire Berwick Waters and has worked as an early childhood educator for the last ten years. She has completed her Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching and has been the Centre Director at Berwick Waters since 2022.
Sashika believes that “Children must feel safe to learn, explore, discover and imagine within their environment. As the future of this world, children should have endless opportunities to explore and experiment through different experiences."
Shamila – Head of Curriculum and Management
Shamila is the Head of Curriculum and Management at Aspire Berwick Waters and has been at Aspire Berwick Waters since 2019, where she was previously the Educational Leader.
Shamila’s philosophy is “Learning in an early childhood environment is done most successfully through stations that can be visited, explored, and revisited repeatedly. The environment should consider the social skills, communication skills, physical abilities or challenges, and learning styles of all children”.
Mansi – Centre Support-Coordinator
Mansi was recently appointed at the beginning of 2024 as the Centre Support-Coordinator at Aspire Berwick Waters.
In this role, Mansi assists with helping out the families with any enquiries and enrolment questions, while also helping on the floor when needed. We are excited for Mansi to take on this new role at Aspire Berwick Waters.
Jaspreet – Educational Leader
Jaspreet is the Educational leader at Berwick Waters. Her philosophy centers around child-led practice and inclusive practices. Jaspreet believes “In fostering an environment where children's interests guide learning. By valuing and honoring their natural curiosity, we can create meaningful learning experiences that resonate with each child individually."
Aspire Berwick Waters is very proud of their management team who keep the centre running smoothly. Berwick Waters also have an amazing team of Educators that provide a supportive environment and play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children.
