Meet Katie - the New Centre Manager at Aspire Ramlegh!

Welcome Katie to Aspire! We are excited to introduce Katie Turner, who has recently stepped into the role of Centre Manager at our Aspire Ramlegh centre in Clyde North. Learn more about her career journey, her passion for the industry and love of being a mother.

Get to know Katie!

Katie has been in the early education industry for over 12 years, bringing a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion to her role.  She holds an advanced Diploma in community sector management and a Diploma of early childhood education and care. Over the years in the early education industry, Katie has worked across various roles, starting out as an Assistant Room Leader. From there to now becoming a Centre Manager, Katie has gained a wide range of knowledge and experience that has cemented her love for early education.

She is very passionate about educating and teaching little minds and supporting their individual growth and development. Katie says, “Each child’s journey is different, and it is rewarding to see them grow and develop.

She believes learning environments should reflect the needs of each individual child, extend on their development, interests, and encourage children to explore and engage. She enjoys celebrating culture, diversity and the greater community and is excited to connect with families at Aspire and in the community.

Katie’s favourite thing about working with the children is listening to their interests and exploring the world through their eyes. As an early education provider, Katie says “Children are at the heart of everything we do, and I want to encourage each child to be strong, confident and independent beings to give them the best possible start in life.”

Outside of her passion for work, Katie is also a mother of two. She has a 5-year-old son and a 6-year-old daughter and loves going on holidays with her family and making new memories together.
