Meet Bree – Aspire White Hills’ New Centre Manager

Aspire Early Education White Hills is one of our beautiful Bendigo centres and we are so excited to welcome Bree McCarroll as our new Centre Manager. Bree began her early education journey eight years ago with Aspire and knew from the very beginning that she wanted to guide children in their early years helping them grow, gain confidence and develop a love for lifelong learning.
Bree began her career just over eight years ago as a trainee and very quickly fell in love with the early childhood sector. She always knew she wanted to support children through their most important years helping them reach milestones, build confidence and develop a genuine love for learning.
She soon stepped into a room leader role where she spent several years guiding, mentoring and nurturing both children and educators. Eventually she became a Centre Manager, a role that strengthened her leadership skills and deepened her commitment to high quality education and care.
She is incredibly proud to have spent eight years growing both personally and professionally with Aspire (and we couldn’t agree more with her!) before beginning this exciting new chapter at Aspire White Hills.
Bree’s leadership style is grounded in wellbeing, compassion and being truly present with the people around her. She is a strong advocate for educators and understands that sometimes she may be the only listening ear someone has that day. She carries a simple reminder with her:
“Be gentle. Everyone carries something nobody else can see.”
She believes educators are the pillars of every centre. When educators feel valued, supported and emotionally safe, they are able to provide the highest quality learning and care for children. Prioritising educator wellbeing is at the core of everything Bree does as a leader.
While Bree loves working across all age groups, she feels especially connected to supporting families through the first 18 months of their child’s life. She values the opportunity to guide parents through these early stages and help children achieve their first milestones.
Her goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment that feels like a home away from home. Ensuring that babies and children feel safe, nurtured and deeply cared for is one of the most rewarding parts of her work.
One of Aspire’s values that resonates most with Bree is connecting communities. She believes deeply in the power of building meaningful relationships not only within her team but also with families, local organisations and the wider community.
Creating a strong sense of belonging and leaving a positive footprint is central to the way she leads and works each day.
Bree jokes that she cannot relax unless she has spent at least six hours cleaning first… a horrible but rewarding curse, as she calls it.
At home she has a beautiful partner, Georgi, three wonderful and funny kids and two dogs who get told “I love you” at least 850 times before bed each night.
For Bree, connection is more than a value. It is a purpose. It is about being genuine and contributing to a community where children, families and educators feel supported every day. “Aspire’s commitment to fostering these connections is exactly what I strive for,” Bree says.
If you’d like to meet Bree in person or take a tour of the centre, enquire today at Aspire White Hills.
Our purpose-built centre features six indoor learning rooms and spacious outdoor play areas where children enjoy arts and craft, music, sports, reading and more. White Hills also offers a beautiful Bush Kinder in our own garden where children explore nature in a safe and inspiring outdoor setting.
We can’t wait to show you and your little one around.
