We are proud to have a group of passionate and supportive leaders across our Aspire Early Education centres.

Aspire Tarneit North's Head of Curriculum (HOC) Bilal Qadir is an important part of the leadership team at Aspire Tarneit. He has shown great passion and dedication which has lead him to become HOC at Tarneit. Learn more about Bilal, his early educational journey and what he enjoys most about and this career below.

How did you begin your career in Early Education and what has your career journey looked like so far?

I started my Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood and during my placements I felt that I could build strong relationships with the children. Based on my performance I was hired as a Kinder teacher at Aspire Tarneit North. After one year of working in the field, I was offered the spot of Tarneit North's Head of Curriculum. In my role as HOC at Tarneit, I've had the privilege of creating a nurturing and enriching environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. It has been a great learning journey so far and I can't wait to see what my future holds at Aspire.

What inspired you to go into this type of work?

Working with children and looking at their progress throughout the year brings me alot of joy in my work. Making a change in their lives really inspired me to pursue a career in Early Education, as it has been a very rewarding career so far.

What is your favourite thing about working with children?

My favourite thing about working with children is forming connections, exploring new ways of connecting with them and building on their skills. An added bonus is the hugs and hi-5s I receive from them!

What do you like most about working at Aspire Tarneit and being part of the leadership team?

I'm fortunate to have a great team at Aspire Tarneit North who understands and connects with me very well. I feel very supported working with the people around me. As a leadership team, we work hard towards making lives better for our staff, families, and children. With my team we work closely to develop innovative curriculum programs, foster strong relationships with families, and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all children.

What are some of your interests and hobbies outside of work?

Outside of work I love to watch movies with my family, as well as play cricket and go to the gym. Staying active is an important part of my lifestyle.
