With more than 25 years of experience in the Early Childhood sector, Audrey's career has been driven by a passion for children, quality education and care, and strong leadership. Audrey's journey began as a casual educator while studying her Diploma in Children’s Services. She progressed from Assistant Educator to Room Leader before stepping into her first Centre Manager role, where she spent more than 15 years leading teams, mentoring educators and driving positive change. Her passion for leadership then led her to an Area Manager role for more than three years, supporting and mentoring Centre Managers and their teams to continually improve the quality of care and education provided to children and families. Now, she has returned to Centre Manager at Aspire Clyde, where she is excited to bring together her extensive experience and knowledge to help build a strong, positive centre culture from the very beginning.
Audrey was drawn to Aspire by the opportunity to help shape a centre from the very beginning, build a strong team culture and create a welcoming environment for children and families was particularly exciting for her. Audrey saw Aspire Clyde as an opportunity to combine her passion for leadership with her commitment to providing high-quality care and education, while building strong relationships within the local community.
Audrey's approach to leadership is centred on relationships, collaboration and continuous growth. She believes great leadership is about supporting, mentoring and empowering others to feel confident in their role and bring their best to every child and family. With more than 25 years in the Early Childhood sector, her passion for the industry continues to be driven by the difference educators can make in a child’s early years. She is committed to creating positive environments where children feel safe, valued and inspired, while educators feel supported, respected and encouraged to grow
