Meet Aspire Beveridge’s Centre Manager Sukhdeep!

Our Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Beveridge centre opened a couple of months ago and we are fortunate to have Sukhdeep Kaur join the team as Beveridge’s Centre Manager. Sukhdeep comes with a wealth of experience in Early Education, and we are so thrilled to have her skills and knowledge at our Beveridge centre.

Find out more about Sukhdeep, her career journey and what she loves most about working with children.

Sukhdeep’s career journey

Sukhdeepstarted her journey in the early education field in 2007 and has worked in the industry ever since. She finished her Master of Education in 2016 and was then offered a role in management. Since then, she has worked with a few different companies, where she has utilised her skills and abilities. In 2023, she heard about Aspire and joined the Wollert centre as their Centre Manager. However, after her move to Beveridge, there was no better opportunity then to join our new Beveridge centre and take up the challenge leading a start-up centre.

Sukhdeep was inspired to begin a career in early learning, saying “Making a difference in children’s lives inspired me a lot, and being a part of their journey is the most rewarding job.”

Sukhdeep loves to have the opportunity to positively impact young children by providing them with nurturing and stimulating environments that promote their growth and development.

Sukhdeep’s passion for the industry and her learning philosophies

Sukhdeep finds joy in interacting with children and being a part of their growth and development. What she loves most about working with children is the pride in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for both the staff members and the children in her care. She says, “watching kids grow up, gives me immense satisfaction knowing that I played some role in shaping who they become.”

Sukhdeep believes in theories and learning philosophies based on human and child development. She likes John Piaget’s cognitive development theory and Gardens Theories. She believes, “every child does things differently, and educators are a guide for the child to achieve their development goals”.

Her time as Centre Manager at Aspire Beveridge

As Beveridge’s Center Manager, Sukhdeep is passionate about building strong relationships with Aspire's sister centres, the local community, and parents/guardians. Together, they strive to provide each child with high-quality care tailored to their individual needs. In her position, she also embraces creative approaches when designing curriculum plans that promote learning through play-based activities.

She loves working alongside the team at Beveridge, to help achieve the goals of the centre.

Outside of work, Sukhdeep loves spending time in nature, gardening, reading books, as well as reading biographies and historical books. She also loves spending quality time with her family who are very important to her.
