Meet Asher, Aspire's Area Manager for Baldivis

Posted December 5th 2025

We are so proud to have Asher Roberts as our Area Manager for Western Australia. With nearly 13 years of experience in the education sector and a deep commitment to high-quality early childhood practice, Asher brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership and heart to our Baldivis community.

A Career Rooted in Experience and Passion

Asher began her career in education in 2013, working in Out of School Hours Care. From the start, her dedication and natural leadership stood out, quickly propelling her into a Regional Management role. In 2018, Asher made a purposeful and courageous decision and returned to the floor to work directly with children. This allowed her to deepen her practice, reconnect with her passion for early childhood education, and continue her studies.

With success, her career continued to grow as she stepped into the role of General Manager for a not-for-profit early education organisation, further developing her skills in leadership, operational management and community engagement. In June 2025, she joined Aspire as Area Manager for Western Australia, bringing a strong foundation in leadership, a commitment to quality education, and a focus on meaningful community connection.

Commitment to Professional Growth

Asher’s dedication to learning is evident in her impressive qualifications. She holds a Certificate III and IV in Education Support, a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, and is currently completing a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary), with just five units remaining. Her ongoing commitment to professional growth not only inspires those around her but also reflects Aspire’s emphasis on continuous improvement and high-quality education.

What Asher Loves About Aspire

For Asher, Aspire is more than a workplace, it’s a community committed to children, families and educators. She is inspired by the organisation’s strong focus on quality, collaborative culture, and shared vision. Being part of something bigger than herself motivates her every day and reinforces her dedication to making a positive impact across the WA Aspire community.

Aspire to Connect – A Value Close to Her Heart

Of all Aspire’s values, Aspire to Connect resonates most deeply with Asher. She believes that authentic relationships with children, families and educators are the foundation of meaningful learning and care. Beyond this, she is passionate about fostering strong connections with the wider community, ensuring that Aspire services become hubs of support, belonging, and engagement for families in the area.

Leadership with Support and Collaboration

Asher’s leadership style is supportive, collaborative, and focused on growth. She prioritises empowering educators to thrive, building partnerships, and creating environments where children feel safe and confident. She values strong, trusting relationships with families and believes that these relationships are essential to a child’s learning and development. Her approach reflects a belief that when people feel supported and valued, they can provide the highest quality education and care.

A Passion for Risky Play

One of Asher’s key passions in early education is risky play. She believes that when children are supported to take safe, developmentally appropriate risks, they build resilience, confidence, problem-solving skills, and a sense of agency that lasts a lifetime. For Asher, encouraging children to explore and challenge themselves safely is one of the most important aspects of early childhood education.

Life Beyond Work

Outside of her professional life, Asher is a proud mum of three children: Gabe (14), Cali (2), and August, her angel baby. She is engaged to her wonderful fiancée, Mariah, who she describes as her biggest supporter.

Asher is also deeply involved in her local community, volunteering with the Kwinana Titans Rugby League and Sporting Club, where her son plays rugby. Staying connected with her community and giving back are central to who she is, both personally and professionally.
