We had an absolutely wonderful morning at Manor Lakes' Community Carnival this past Saturday! Our Aspire families and local community members joined us to explore the variety of fun activities and local market stalls on offer. Parents talked, laughed and spent quality time with their community as their kids had their face's painted, their hands adorned with henna and their creativity sparked with heaps of hands-on activities. Aspire Manor Lakes' fantastic Centre Manager, Charu Marwaha, curated an excellent selection of interactive activities for families to enjoy. Parents and children snapped fun photos together, had their faces painted, showed off stunning henna designs, and were amazed by the roaming magician!
Our friends at Allwright Entertainment brought the photo fun with a pop-up photo booth full of props and playful energy. Kids beamed with joy as photo strips printed out, capturing memories of silly faces and laughter with their friends and siblings.
One of the highlights of the event was the beautiful henna art by Henna by Madhuri. Both parents and children patiently lined up to get intricate and elegant designs on their hands and wrists. Afterward, everyone proudly posed to show off their new artistic accessories.
Thanks to our two incredible face painters, kids were transformed into magical creatures, superheroes, and adorable animals. From butterflies to tigers, the imagination was endless! Meanwhile, balloon artists twisted up delightful creations that had the children absolutely thrilled.
A talented magician roamed the carnival, performing sleight-of-hand and fun illusions that captivated both children and adults. Gasps, laughter, and applause followed him wherever he went!
We were so thrilled to be joined by a number of amazing small and local businesses at the community carnival! Each vendor brought something special, with unique gifts, tools, and trinkets on display for families to explore, shop, and enjoy. It was a fantastic opportunity for the community to discover local talent and support passionate small business owners.
Red Blanket Co. brought joy to both kids and adults with their playful fidget toys, calming weighted blankets, and other fun, sensory-friendly products. Their colourful, interactive items sparked curiosity and helped families discover new ways to relax, play, and focus.
Face & Mask featured their beautifully crafted skincare products and self-care essentials, perfect for all skin types. With natural ingredients and luxurious textures, their offerings were a hit among parents looking to indulge in some much-needed pampering.
Nature Luxe showcased their exquisite range of wellness products, including artisan teas, essential oils and eco-friendly self-care items. Their booth was a calming retreat for carnival-goers, offering soothing scents and natural remedies that promote relaxation and mindfulness.
Thread and Neddle displayed a delightful array of handmade textile goods, from intricately embroidered home decor to bespoke clothing items. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail were truly inspiring, with many attendees admiring the artistry and quality of their work.
We’re so grateful to everyone who came out and made the Aspire Manor Lakes Community Carnival such a joyous event. Your presence, laughter, and enthusiasm helped create an atmosphere full of warmth, togetherness, and fun.
