Introducing Charu, Aspire Manor Lakes’ New Centre Manager

Meet Aspire Early Education Manor Lakes’ new Centre Manager, Charu Marwaha! With an incredible 22 years of experience in the early childhood education sector, Charu brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication to our community.
Charu’s journey into early childhood education began her love for seeing children grow and learn. This passion has fuelled her long and rewarding career in the sector, shaping her into the compassionate leader she is today.
Charu has spent 12 years as a Centre Manager in a long-day early learning centre in Sydney. Her career has also included a role as a Programs Manager in an Outside of Hours School Care (OHSC) setting, as well as valuable experience supporting children of all abilities in the disability sector. Her diverse background gives her a unique perspective on creating inclusive, nurturing learning environments.
As she steps into her new role at Aspire, Charu is eager to embrace fresh learning opportunities. One of her key goals is to explore and become proficient with new software platforms and kinder-funded programs. This is a new concept for her, having worked previously in New South Wales, where Kinder-funded programs don’t operate. Charu is excited to bring new insights to enhance the educational experience for children and families at Manor Lakes.
Charu lives by a simple yet powerful philosophy: Strive to succeed. This motto guides her daily interactions with children, families, and educators, inspiring her to always seek new ways to support and nurture the learning journey.
What motivates Charu most is the happiness and trust of the families and children she serves. Hearing that she was missed when absent and witnessing the team's positive growth under her leadership inspires her to continue striving for excellence every day.
When she's not at the centre, Charu enjoys relaxing by cooking and watching Netflix. These activities allow her to unwind and recharge, ensuring she brings her best self to work each day.
For Charu, the best part of being a Centre Manager is the relationships she builds. She treasures the connections with her team, the families, and especially the children. Being a familiar and trusted face for families and seeing the joy children show when they see her is incredibly rewarding.
We are so excited to have Charu join the Aspire Manor Lakes community. We just can’t wait to see the amazing impact she will have on our children, families, and team!
