Introducing Brit - The New Centre Manager at Aspire Huntly Village

We are so excited to introduce Brit Shaddock as the Centre Manager at our brand-new Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten Huntly Village service! Brit is a familiar face at Aspire, where she has worked across a few different roles throughout her time here. With a new challenge ahead as the Huntly Village Centre Manager, we couldn't be happier to have her at the centre.
Get to know more about Brit, her Aspire journey and what drives her passion for the industry!
Brit has nearly 14 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education sector, bringing a wealth of knowledge with her. She holds a Diploma of Early Childhood, Certificate III in Children’s Services, and a Certificate II in Business. For the past four years, Brit has been fortunate enough to be employed by Aspire, working in a range of roles including Centre Manager, Head of Curriculum, and most recently, a Curriculum and Practice Lead within the Operations team. Each of these roles has deepened her understanding of what it takes to create thriving early learning environments and has fueled her passion for continuous improvement in our sector.
What drives Brit the most in her work is the understanding of how deeply early education shapes children’s lives. Brit says, "I believe that by creating strong relationships, an intentional curriculum, and an inclusive environment, we can lay the foundation for lifelong success and wellbeing."
She is especially passionate about early brain development, knowing how critical the first five years are for growth. She loves to draw on theory and research to inform teaching practices and curriculum decisions, always aiming to deliver meaningful learning outcomes for every child.
One quote that continues to guide and inspire her is:
“In learning, you will teach, and in teaching, you will learn.” – Phil Collins.
As Aspire Huntly Village opens soon, Brit is thrilled to begin this journey alongside a passionate team of educators. Brit says, "It’s a true privilege to be part of opening this new centre, and I’m looking forward to building something special—a nurturing, inspiring, and high-quality learning environment from the ground up."
Brit is excited for this new challenge of running a start-up centre, something that she hasn't been apart of before. She looks forward to building a strong, supportive team culture, welcoming families into our new community, and creating a space where all children can thrive.
We are thrilled to have Brit lead the Huntly Village centre and we can't wait to open to the community soon! If you'd like to say hi to Brit and the lovely Huntly Village team, then book a tour today!
