Introducing Aspire Thornhill Park’s New Centre Manager - Aruna!
I'm Aruna Ladva, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Thornhill Park's new Centre Manager. Having spent the past 13 years with Goodstart Early Learning, I’ve had the privilege of working across all age groups and in a variety of roles. This then led me to the Centre Manager role at Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre on Matthew Flinders Drive.
A bit about me personally: I’m married and a proud mum to a wonderful 5-year-old daughter. Outside of work, I cherish our family time, whether we’re embarking on outdoor adventures or enjoying cosy indoor activities like cooking, watching movies, or playing games together. Being a parent has given me invaluable insights into what families are looking for in a centre, and it drives me to create a welcoming and nurturing environment for all children.
I'm genuinely passionate about the Early Learning sector. Because of this, I believe in building strong, trusting relationships with children, their families, and the wider community. For me, the phrase “it takes a village to raise a child” rings true, and I consider our team here at Aspire to be an essential part of that village.
In terms of qualifications, I hold an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, along with current first aid and child protection training. I also speak three languages, which helps me connect with families from diverse backgrounds and support our centre’s inclusivity.
I’m really looking forward to working alongside my new team members to foster a collaborative educational environment. I believe that creativity, innovation, and cooperative culture are key to achieving positive outcomes for both children and staff. A supportive, harmonious workplace helps everyone feel valued, which, in turn, enriches the community and commitment among our educators.
I’m excited about this next chapter with Aspire and am eager to get to know each of you. Together, I’m confident we can create an inspiring and nurturing environment for our children to thrive. I look forward to building positive relationships and working together to make a difference in our community. It is an honour to be Aspire Thornhill Park's new Centre Manager.
