Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Bendigo – Kennington is gearing up for an exciting National Book Week community event! Make sure you come along and join us for this Book Week Celebration!
Being held to coincide with the start of National Children’s Book Week on Saturday the 17th of August, Aspire Bendigo’s event is set to be one to remember. This year’s Book Week theme is “Reading is Magic”, with reading helping young people to explore new ideas and take them to other worlds.
Featuring many book-themed activities and experiences, any young bookworm is sure to have a blast. Book-themed experiences lie around every corner at the centre, from a nursery rhyme dance party to a story-telling room. Even better is that the food made by the incredible centre chef Vicky will be based around some of the most well-loved children’s stories. There will be a spread of food the “Very Hungry Caterpillar” chomped through, a very delicious “Wombat Stew” and other fun themed foods.
The centre is also having a few special guests to add to the magic of the day! We are welcoming a marvellous magician to add a spark to the event. They are a talented balloon sculptor, creating anything from a balloon sword t o a lovely bunch of flowers. They are sure to have something magical up their sleeves!
We also have a team of fantastic face painters to add magic to the faces of children and adults alike. Imagine the possibilities, they are nearly endless! It can also add to an already fantastic costume. Coming dressed up as your favourite book character is one thing, but adding face paint really brings it to the next level.
Did we mention that tickets are 100% FREE!? The event isn’t too far away, so make sure you grab your tickets now by clicking the button below.
