Fun Celebrations and Events at Aspire Donnybrook
October has been a busy month at our Aspire centres with many fun celebrations and activities to recognise different events throughout the month. At Aspire Early Education Donnybrook, they celebrated Diwali Festival of Lights, Halloween and Grandparent’s Day, and invited their families to join in on these celebrations with their children.

On Friday 25th October, Aspire Donnybrook celebrated Grandparents and Special Person’s Day! They invited all the children's grandparents or grand-relatives to spend time with their little ones, and it was heartwarming to see so many grandparents attend.
The team arranged seating for them and later involved the grandparents in group time, where they sang songs with the children. It was a beautiful moment, especially seeing the joy and smiles on the children's faces. This event provided a wonderful opportunity to make the grandparents feel special, recognising the important role they play in their grandchildren's lives.
On Friday 1st, Aspire Donnybrook celebrated the vibrant Diwali Festival of Lights with our wonderful Aspire community! The children and staff arrived dressed in their beautiful traditional outfits, filling the centre with color, culture, and joy.
Throughout the day, the rooms were buzzing with fun Diwali-themed activities and experiences, helping the little ones connect with the spirit of the festival. From creative art and crafts to storytelling, it was a day filled with learning, laughter, and togetherness for the children. Not to mention, there was also some yummy traditional food provided for the staff to enjoy.
It was a wonderful day, and we hope everyone who celebrates had a bright and joyful Diwali!
On Thursday, October 31, Aspire Donnybrook also celebrated Halloween with a fantastic dress-up day! Children and educators came dressed as their favorite characters, and everyone loved the spooky and creative costumes.
From our tiniest babies to our energetic Kinder kids, all of the children had a fantastic time getting into the Halloween spirit! The children enjoyed some spooky arts and crafts activities such as drawing pumpkins, painting spider cut outs, and decorating delicious Halloween treats.
