Fun and Smiles at Aspire Cranbourne East’s Open Day Event!
What an amazing day we had on Saturday 9th November at the Open Day Event for our brand-new Aspire Cranbourne East centre! Seeing the local community get together and explore this centre, meet the team and enjoy some fun activities was truly special. Check out the fun we had below!
As always, we had a variety of fun activities for families to enjoy at the Cranbourne East Open Day.
The children had their faces painted beautifully by Rosa and her team of amazing face painters. We had little superheroes, unicorns and bunnies alike running around the centre.
We also had the team from Animals on the Move provide their mini animal farm, where the children got to hold and pat some adorable animals including little rabbits, guinea pigs and baby chicks!
Outside in the carpark, the children absolutely loved the pony rides provided by the team from Balloonaversal Entertainments. There was sheer excitement from the kids as they got to meet and ride the sweet gentle ponies, which provided some unforgettable moments for the children!
Everyone also loved the photobooth in room 8! Families and friends dressed up in silly costumes and took pictures with a variety of props. It was great to see so many people using the photobooth and creating memories for years to come. In Room 3, we also had some balloon twisting fun for the children
We would also love to thank the team from Cranbourne CFA, who volunteered their time to come down to our Open Day event with their amazing fire truck. The children loved exploring the truck and taking to the firefights aswell as Mascot Caption Koala!

Our Aspire team put on a wonderful food spread for the open day! Guests were served samples of our yummy pasta and chicken curry and rice. A selection of fresh fruit and vegetables were also available as a healthy snack for the adults and children. Thank you to the Aspire chef and team for putting such a great spread together and giving families the opportunity to taste test some of our menu.
Families also took tours of the centre throughout the day, meeting the friendly centre director Abby and the other Cranbourne East team members. The rooms were set up beautifully with different experiences for the children to enjoy, as well as different place spaces in the outdoor yard. The children had the most fun on the outdoor bus which was transformed into an “Enchanted forest” by the team. See some wonderful pictures below!
One of the highlights of the Open Day event was definitely a visit from Sesame Street’s Elmo and Cookie Monster! The children (and parents) were very excited to see the characters from one of their favourite television series!
The pair ran some interactive games and danced to some catchy tunes! They then took some photos with the children who know have a beautiful keepsake forever. Thanks to Elmo and Cookie Monster for bring even more fun to the Open Day!
