Fun and Exploration at Aspire Pakenham’s Little Learners Playgroup
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Pakenham has recently introduced a Little Learners Playgroup at their centre for families in the Pakenham community. These playgroup sessions are FREE and running every Friday morning from 10.30am and are aimed at families with children aged 0-5 years. During these sessions, children can participate and explore different activities, play in different learning spaces and socialise with other children.
Each week, there is a new theme so children can come back and explore different learning opportunities. Learn more about the first couple of Playgroup sessions and register your interest for our upcoming sessions!
On Friday 25th July, Aspire Pakenham ran their very first Little Learners Playgroup session that was open to the community. It kicked off with a magical Christmas in July theme and it was full of festive fun, laughter, and joy! The children engaged in different Christmas craft activities, playdough making, painting, playing with animal blocks and more.
These activities are loads of fun for the children but are also powerful learning tools. Craft and painting activities build fine motor skills, spark creativity, and help children express their thoughts and feelings. Building blocks boost problem-solving, spatial awareness, and early STEM skills, while also teaching teamwork and perseverance. And playdough is perfect for strengthening little hand muscles, engaging the senses, and calming busy minds. These sessions offer many benefits for young children’s growth and development.
