Family Fun at Averley with Aspire Pakenham
Connecting with the community is at the heart of all we do at Aspire, and teaching children to be valued members of their local community is important to us at Aspire. We have been fortunate enough to have partnership with Lendlease, who have communities throughout Melbourne including Averley Estate in Pakenham’s East. Averley recently opened their new Sales and Information centre, and our Aspire Early Education Pakenham team joined on the day to run some activities and engage with families in the community.

Family Fun at Averley Sales Centre
Over two weekends in March, Averley Estate held a family fun day at their brand-new Sales and Information Centre. Averley, located near Pakenham in Melbourne’s southeast, is a tranquil estate and community by Lendlease. Averley has a variety of land, townhouses and house & land packages on offer to build your dream home, if you are looking to move into the area. Our Aspire Pakenham centre is only a 7 min drive from Averley Estate, making it a convenient childcare option for families looking to build their future at Averley.
Staff from our Aspire Pakenham team attended this family fun event, offering a couple of experiences for the children, as well as information about our Aspire Pakenham centre and curriculum. The team set up some fun experiences including playdoh making with natural resources and a fizzy science experiment with colours. The science experience especially was a hit, and the children at the event loved getting to experiment with different colours. See some photos below of our setup!
There were many other activities across the two weekends including face painting, easter arts and crafts, balloon twisting and a special visit from the Nova 100 Casanovas who handed our special prizes to family. There was also a coffee van and some delicious treats that were a massive hit with the parents! Families enjoyed the afternoon at Averley talking to the staff and engaging in these fun experiences with others.
The Importance of Connecting with the Community
We partnered with Lendlease on a few community events in 2023 and have continued this community connection into 2024. As community is at the heart of all we do at Aspire, we love supporting and working with businesses and members in the local community. Our community engagement program supports children in being valued members of their community, and what it means to be a global citizen.
As part of our community engagement program, we run community events at our centres. In the coming month or so, we will be holding a community event at our Pakenham centre, which will be a great opportunity for families to see how centre, meet our fantastic team and enjoy fun free activities.
Our Aspire Pakenham centre is situated in a great location close to Pakenham train station, Pakenham Central Marketplace, and various local parks and reserves. Our centre has seven learning rooms specifically designed for each age group, from nursery through to kindergarten age. This allows them to learn at their own pace, whilst building social skills by engaging with their peers.
