Little Sports Heroes (LHS) is an energetic incursion experience that helps kids stay active! Running in each room, the team tailors their activities for each age group. From learning new sports and games, to teaching the proper technique to throw a ball, the kids work on their physical health and development. Recently Little Sports Heroes visited the Nursey room. Despite the rainy day, the babies had a blast playing with balls inside. They especially loved it when the LSH team placed the balls on their heads It was a great opportunity to continue to develop their gross motor skills.
Our children recently got their first look at a Magic Jenny incursion! Incursions with Magic Jenny are an opportunity for our children to engage in song and dance and, stories. It is a lot of fun! Magic Jenny gives the children the chance to develop their motor skills and social skills while participating in group experiences. The children love how silly she is and she always makes them laugh.
Incursions are vital for young children's health and development as they provide enriching experiences that extend beyond the everyday environment. They foster curiosity and exploration of new interests and ideas. These activities introduce children to new concepts, people, and sensory experiences. This then promotes cognitive development and enhances their social skills as they interact with peers and facilitators.
