Exciting Incursion Fun at Aspire Berwick Waters!
Incursions provide children with the opportunity to explore meaningful learning experiences during the hours they attend care. At Aspire Berwick Waters, they offer fortnightly incursions for their different age rooms, from sports programs to creative art programs.

The Berwick Waters 4-year kinder children had a blast at the recent swim safety incursion by Splash Swim School! Learning to stay safe around water is crucial for young children.
During this program the children learnt about pool and ocean safety and what to be careful of, which they soaked up with enthusiasm. From knowing what to do in emergencies to getting creative with drawing activities, this program taught he children all about staying safe while having fun in the water.
SES Incursion
Our 4-year-old kinder children recently had the opportunity to participate in an incursion with Emergency Services (SES)! This was a great hands-on experience that offered our kinder children invaluable lessons in safety, teamwork, and community awareness. From learning about emergency procedures to understanding the importance of helping others, our children had a fantastic time while gaining essential life skills.

Didgeridoo Incursion
Aspire Berwick Waters also runs indigenous incursion programs, to enhance the children’s knowledge on Aboriginal culture. Recently the Toddler rooms embarked on a musical adventure with a mesmerizing Didgeridoo incursion. With wide-eyed wonder and eager ears, the children delved into the enchanting world of this ancient Aboriginal musical instrument. They felt the vibrations, they listened to the tones, and experienced the connection between music and Aboriginal culture in a profound way.
This experience gives the children a deeper understanding and appreciation for Indigenous heritage.
Afrobeat Drum Incursion
Aspire Berwick Waters also offers incursions that explore other cultures as well. The 3-year Kinder children recently had a fantastic journey into the heart of Africa with an electrifying African drum incursion by Afrobeat! From the mesmerizing rhythms beats of the drum, the children are captivated by the rich tapestry of African culture during this incursion. They danced, laughed, and immersed themselves in a world of rhythm and melody that captivates their imagination.
This incursion also promotes the importance of working together and increases the children’s gross motor skills and coordination.
