Art projects are a wonderful way for children to bring their imaginations to life while enhancing their critical thinking skills. SketchRoo is a creative art and craft incursion, that is a favourite among our little learners at Aspire Cranbourne North.
During this incursion, the children explored different emotions and discovered how to express them beautifully through art. The children followed the teachers’ lead and created beautiful drawings, proving endless opportunities for learning and growth.
Cranbourne North were fortunate to have Charlie Silly Pants visit the centre during the school holiday program. Charlie Silly Pants shows are the perfect choice for child care centres and are designed to stimulate creativity through different themes. The comedy show filled the air with laughter, helping to boost the children’s confidence and enhance their social skills.
The last day of the School Holiday program at Cranbourne North was a huge success, thanks to an awesome magic show! The children were full of curiosity, excitement, and pure joy as they watched the magic unfold right before their eyes. The were amazed when objects disappeared, vanished and even changed colours.
Water play offers numerous benefits for children in early childhood, supporting their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. As part of the Holiday Program, the children enjoyed engaging in water play activities! They ran through water sprinklers, played with plastic balls in water trays and much more!
It was wonderful to see so many of them exploring the sensory experience of water while having a fun time socialising with their peers.
Sewing provides children with valuable skills that extend to many areas of life, including problem-solving, attention to detail, patience, and time management. As part of the holiday program, the children participated in sewing activities with their teachers.
They used shoelaces to weave through holes in plastic objects, so it was a safe experience for the children. They were so focused and engaged during this this hands-on experience!
