Easter Community Festivities at Aspire Thornhill Park

On Saturday 28th of March, Aspire Thornhill Park, along with support from the team at Thornhill Village hosted an Easter event for the community!

It was a wonderful day filled with community connection, creativity and Easter fun for everyone to enjoy. Children took part in a range of creative activities, from Easter crafts and egg hunts to amazing face painting. While families enjoyed the chance to meet, connect and explore the welcoming atmosphere of our centre, some for the first time! Events like this highlight our commitment to building strong community connections and creating meaningful experiences for both children and families.

Easter Fun and Creative Experiences

To celebrate the start of the Easter season, our staff set up different activities and learning experiences for the children to enjoy. This included drawing and colouring in activities, easter hat decoration corners, Easter puzzles, and Easter-themed sensory activities. Children were also able to get their faces painted with fun Easter and character designs, as well as their hair braided with colourful braids. Thank you to the wonderful vendors who attended and provided these services. It was great to see so many cute Easter bunnies lighting up the centre!

The Easter bunny arrived!

And of course, it wouldn't be an Easter event without a special visit from the beloved Easter Bunny. Children were delighted as the Easter Bunny hopped in to say hello, sharing smiles, waves and plenty of excitement throughout the centre. Children also enjoyed some yummy Easter eggs from the Easter Bunny, and parents were able to enjoy some delicious food made by our Aspire centre chef, giving families a taste of the Aspire menu!
