Meet Andrea Barry, Deanside Village’s new Centre Manager. Andrea brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as Centre Manager. Let’s get to know her story and what drives her as an early education leader.
Andrea began her early childhood journey in 2006 and has spent over 15 years nurturing children and leading with heart. With an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, she has steadily progressed through various leadership roles, embracing each opportunity with commitment and care.
Andrea is deeply passionate about creating safe, high-quality learning environments where children feel supported, valued, and inspired to grow. She leads with empathy, fosters collaboration, and communicates clearly. These are qualities that foster strong relationships with families, children, and her team. As well as this, Andrea is a proud advocate for child safety and educator wellbeing. Because of this, she is committed to building positive team cultures that reflect Aspire’s high standards of care and education.
For Andrea, the Aspire value that resonates most is Building Trust. This is because she believes trust is the foundation of all meaningful relationships and prioritises transparency and open communication in her daily practice.
Having grown up and worked in the local area for more than 15 years, Andrea has developed deep community connections and continues to build on these every day. She finds great joy in supporting families and working alongside a team that shares her vision.
