Connecting with the Community at Aspire Cranbourne North

Posted November 15th 2024

Aspire Early Education Cranbourne North opened in September and has already formed strong connections with the local community, schools and businesses. With community at the heart of everything we do at Aspire, it is amazing to see the Cranbourne North team build strong community connections within a short time.

Learn more about some of these connections and the community iniatives the team has implemented below.

Woolworths and Cheesecake Shop Partnership

Cranbourne North has established a strong community partnership with the local Woolworths at the Avenue Village shopping centre. As part of this partnership, Woolworths generously provides a free fruit basket every Monday, ensuring that the children have access to healthy and fresh snacks throughout the week. The team are grateful for Woolworths’ continued support in promoting well-being and healthy eating habits within the centre.

They are also thrilled to have formed a partnership with The Cheesecake Shop, who generously provide free cakes or vouchers for the centre’s staff events or internal celebrations with families. These delicious cakes add a delightful touch to the centre’s celebrations, enhancing the joy and community spirit within the centre.

The team are excited to connect with more local businesses in the coming months as well.

Ampol Open Day Fun

Last month, Aspire Cranbourne North proudly supported the Ampol Cranbourne North Family Fun Day, enhancing the community experience with engaging activities and experiences. The fun family day out included kids face painting, free coffee and donuts, and a meet and greet from Minion! The Cranbourne North team set up a creative art space marquee and ran art and drawing activities for the children. The children loved engaging in these creative activities and had a nice keepsake to take home!

The team loved meeting new families in the area, and connecting with some of their existing families who came to the event.

School Connections

Cranbourne North has connected with three local primary schools in the area, including Cranbourne Carlisle Primary School, Courteney Gardens Primary School and Tulliallan Primary School. The management team visited the schools and met with the school's prep teachers and coordinators. They introduced themselves amd gave them further insight into the school curriculum and learning experiences.

Cranbourne North’s partnership with local primary schools is a key aspect of their community engagement program. Fostering these school connections helps to support seamless transitions for the children as they move forward in their educational journey.

The team are excited to continue these school connections and hopefully organise school excursions for the kinder children in 2025.
