Community Fun at the Riverfield Farm Gate Grand Opening Event!
On Saturday 6th of December, the new Riverfield Farm Gate Retail Precinct in Clyde had their grand-opening event! The community was invited to enjoy a range of free activities, food, music and giveaways from the retailers. Our Aspire Early Education Riverfield centre was also open to the public for centre tours and to meet our wonderful team. We also had a range of different activities set up, an incursion from Jitterbugs, and a special visit from Santa!

Our Aspire Riverfield centre loved welcoming the community to their centre for the grand-opening event. It was a great opportunity for new families to explore our state of-the-art indoor and outdoor rooms and see our beautiful learning spaces. They also got to meet our Riverfield management team and educators who were keen to meet new and familiar faces.
Our staff set up the rooms with different activities for children to enjoy, that reflect our Aspire curriculum and daily routines. Chef from our Aspire Clydevale centre also cooked some delicious meals including Authentic butter chicken and rice and Italian vegetarian pasta. Families really enjoyed the menu sampling and getting to taste of the food we offer and cook daily for the children.
From 12.00-1.30pm, we were fortunate to have an incursion from Jitterbugs, who run movement and music incursions for childcare, kindergartens and occupational therapy centres. The children had a blast dancing to different tunes, moving their bodies and popping some of the bubbles!
After that we had an exciting visit from Santa himself, where he suprised the children from the North Pole. The children received some little goodies and got to take some wonderful photos that they will cherish forever. Check out the highlights below!
The event itself had many fun activities and experiences for children and families to enjoy including an animal farm, face painting, jumping castle, balloon artists, kids pamper station, DJ and more!
The Farm Gate retailers also offered may exciting giveaways including including100 complimentary coffees and 25% off at Farmgatecafeandco, 50% off services at Barber's kingdom, and Buy One, Get One FREE on ALL Bubble Tea drinks and A FREE scoop of ice cream for every child at BOBA VIBES. It was great to see all the retailers get involved in the event and offer these deals to families.
The Farm Gate community and Aspire Riverfield were so thankful to all the families who joined on the day! Despite the rainy weather, it was such a fun day of connection, smiles and full tummies!
