Children’s Week Fun at Aspire Cranbourne North

Children's Week in Australia is an annual celebration that focuses on the rights and well-being of children and highlights the joys and achievements of childhood.
Our brand-new Aspire Cranbourne North centre celebrated Children’s Week this week with a range of fun and engaging experiences for the children. Discover more about the blast the children had this week!

This week, as part of Cranbourne North’s Children's Week celebrations, the management team organised a special music incursion for the children. The session was filled with joy and excitement as they explored a variety of action songs, encouraging the children to participate with movement and enthusiasm. The highlight of the incursion was the children’s involvement in song selections, as they eagerly requested their favourite tunes. From classic nursery rhymes to lively action songs, each performance brought smiles and laughter, fostering a love for music and creating unforgettable memories.
It was a truly engaging and interactive experience, celebrating the essence of Children's Week.
The children also an exciting celebration for Children’s Week by role-playing the beloved storybook “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle. The children’s faces lit up with joy when they saw the hungry caterpillar come to life! This engaging activity helped them develop their literacy and language skills in a more fun and interactive way.

During Children’s Week, Cranbourne North also had their first excursion! With the supervision of the educators, the children walked to the local park. Here they soaked in the sights of nature and watched all the passing vehicles as they trekked to the park.
But the real surprise? Minion and Hello Kitty from our sister centre Aspire Bella Estate showed up and jumped right into a dance party with them! The children were very excited with this surprise visit and had an absolute blast!!
Over the coming months, Aspire Cranbourne North has many fun incursion programs booked at the centre for the children. These incursions include African drumming, Diwali, animal farm, gardening, SketchRoo and more. Incursion programs provide interactive and practical experiences that make learning more engaging, enriching their educational experience.
