Celebrating our Mothers and Special People at Aspire!
Over the last week our Aspire centres have been celebrating Mother’s Day and recognising the amazing mothers, grandmothers, and special people in the children’s lives at Aspire.
Mothers and mother figures play a huge role in a child’s life, by caring for them, loving them, teaching them, supporting them and more. Mother’s Day is all about showing our appreciation for mother’s and special people and all they do for their families and children. We express our gratitude for their hardwork, selflessness and all that they contribute.
Mother’s Day is an important event in our Aspire curriculum, with all our centres getting involved in different activities and events to celebrate, welcoming the mums and special people to the centre. Read more and check out some happy snaps from our beautiful Aspire celebrations below!
Fun Activities and Delicious Food
It was a truly special celebration at our Aspire Bella Estate centre, with DIY activities for the children to participate in with their mums, a sip and paint session, pampering activities, and a delightful photo booth. At Aspire Berwick Waters, the mums enjoyed some fun and pampering activities including spa baths, nail salon and massages, music and movies, fashion parade, gardening, and delicious food. Our Aspire Thornhill Park centre also set up a special pampering station with nail paint and hand creams, as well as a painting and pot planting activity. At Aspire Pakenham they also had a massage chair set up, as well as makeup artists, and different activity stations including creating your own flower vase and decorating your own mug. These activities at our centres provided a fun way for mums to relax and treat themselves and engaged in interactive and creative activities with their children.
At Aspire Riverwalk, the mums also received a mini Mother’s Day pack to take home, which included some hand cream, nail files, yummy treats and more. At Aspire Truganina, they also had a fun raffle for the mums to win prizes, as a special edition to their event.
Leading up to our special Mother’s Day events, many of the centres organised activities for the children to complete to prepare for these events. At Aspire Cobblebank, the children had fun decorating each of the rooms in different decorations, and they also made little drawings to put in little gift bags for their loved ones. The children at Aspire Atherstone also made cute Mother's Day cards to give to their mums.
All our Aspire centres at their events served delicious food made by our centre chefs, whether it was morning or afternoon tea! From scones, to pastries, to sandwiches and fruit, the food was a hit with the families. See some photos that might make your mouth water below!
We hope all our Aspire Mums, Grandmothers, guardians, and special people had a wonderful Mother’s Day at Aspire.
