Celebrating 100 days of Aspire Beveridge!
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Beveridge was the first Aspire centre to open in the suburb of Beveridge, one of Melbourne’s growing communities in the North.
On Monday 9th of September, Aspire Beveridge celebrated 100 days of officially being open!
To celebrate this incredible milestone, the children at Aspire Beveridge had an unforgettable visit from Bumblebee from the Transformers and Elsa from Frozen. The joy on the children’s faces was absolutely priceless and they didn’t want their friends to leave! Check out some adorable photos below.
This celebration was a great opportunity to reflect on the progress made and to celebrate the wonderful relationships built within the Beveridge community so far.
Throughout the last 100 days, Aspire Beveridge has celebrated many different events and days of importance including Book Week, Daffodil Day, Science Week, NAIDOC Week, Environment week and more.
They have also celebrated their wonderful families through Mother’s Day and Father’s Day celebrations, as well as our wonderful team of educators on Educators Day.
Aspire Beveridge began their incursion program including fun magical dancing sessions run by Magic Jenny and Yoga classes run by the Melbourne Kinds Yoga and Creative Dance team. These extra-curricular activities offer fun learning experiences beyond the daily classroom activities. Recently, Aspire Beveridge has also began excursions to the local community including Beveridge Community centre. These provide the opportunity for the children to explore their local community, socialise with others and become more independent.
Community plays a big part at Aspire Beveridge, and the team has also implemented some great community iniatives over the last couple of months at the centre. This includes a community noticeboard, community pantry, community library and a coffee station for families in the foyer. These iniatives aim to give back to our families, and provide them with food and resources that can help them during stressful or busy times in their lives.
The team are so excited to implement more exciting incursions, excursions and community celebrations over the next six months.
