Brittany Harrington, from Centre Support Coordinator to Centre Manager!

Brittany Harrington is a familiar face at Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Kennington. Since starting at the centre four years ago, Britt has gone from strength to strength, from an Assistant Educator to the centre’s new Centre Manager. Hear from Britt about her early education journey, what she loves about her job and what she does in her spare time!

All about Brittany

Hello! My name is Brittany Harrington, and I'm thrilled to step into the role of Centre Director at Aspire Kennington. I have been with Aspire for the past four years. I started as an Assistant Educator before the previous Centre Manager Kara, encouraged me to take on the role of Room Leader. For the last 12 months, I have had the privilege of working as the Centre Support Coordinator, and I’m excited to now take on the challenge of leading the team as Centre Director.

I’m eager to continue Kara's great work and look forward to making a positive impact in this new role. Although I am very aware of the big shoes I have to fill!

I’ve been drawn to working with children from a young age. Their curiosity and wonder for the world around them are something I cherish deeply. It's a privilege to support their growth, and I'm incredibly fortunate to be part of their learning journey.

Outside of work, I love to travel. I’ve been lucky enough to visit over 30 different countries, backpacked south America and lived in London for two years. I also enjoy staying active by going to the gym and taking dance classes.

As Centre Director, my favourite part of the job is the opportunity to work alongside the incredible children and families. The conversations, stories, and connections we share are what make this work so meaningful, and I genuinely look forward to the days ahead.
