Atherstone Estate Early Learning Centre
Quality Care for Your Child
Commencing operation in 2019, our Atherstone Estate early learning centre is a brand-new development catering to children aged 6 months to 6 years. With 8 rooms and more than 887 square metres of space, there is plenty of room for your child to explore whilst under the watchful eye of our friendly and experienced educators.
We are ideally located at the corner of Atherstone Boulevard and Bridge Road, only a short distance from the Wilton Fields Park and Atherstone Adventure Park. We offer care for infants in our Nursery, as well as a comprehensive Kindergarten Program. We aim to create a homely environment where every child feels as though they belong as a valued member of the community.
Our educators are kind natured and compassionate. We encourage children to explore their individual strengths and interests, and we cater to any special requests you may have. We respect and honour the role of family throughout a child’s educational journey, and we keep you informed at every stage through the Storypark application. Our aim is to deliver the best possible care and quality education for every child, and we accomplish this through our blend of sensory and play-based learning.
Bringing the Outdoors In
Our indoor rooms are stimulating, safe and secure and have been purpose designed for specific age groups. We are fortunate to have an expansive outdoor area which connects seamlessly with our indoor rooms, giving children the opportunity to enjoy fresh air and sunshine. We regularly run outdoor programmes ranging from environmental education through to sports activities and more. Within this safe and secure environment, children will develop their cognitive function and social skills whilst interacting with their peers and creating new friendships.
There is an activity for every child, as we have environments ranging from sand pits through to cubby houses, swing sets, bike paths, rock climbing and even dry creek beds. Children are free to roam around at their leisure, discovering new concepts and interests whilst gaining an understanding of environmental sustainability and the importance of nature.

Staffed by a qualified cook, your child will be provided with delicious meals at morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. All meals are made fresh and meet Nutrition Australia guidelines, there is something for every child to enjoy.
Regular Updates via Storypark
Childhood is a very special time in life, and to help you follow your child’s journey we provide you with regular updates via Storypark. Serving as a safe and secure communication platform between parents and educators, you will receive photos and status updates on a regular basis. It’s a great way to catch up on what your child has been up to whilst under our care, and it is ideal for busy working parents. We believe that maintaining open communications with family is key to a great learning experience, and we welcome any feedback you may wish to provide.
Meet our centre manager.
Hi there! My name is Liz and I am delighted to take on the role of Centre Director here at our fantastic Atherstone centre. I have been Educational Leader since January and have loved getting to know the children and families in this wonderful community.
I started my career in Children’s Services in 2012 working in a sessional kindergarten in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I held this role for five years before moving on as a Room Leader until December 2019.
In January of 2020 my daughter and I moved to Darley and I commenced work here at Aspire.
As well as my Diploma in Children’s Services I hold an Advanced Diploma in Management. I am passionate about early childhood education and children’s social and emotional development, and believe that all children deserve access to high quality early learning programs.
In my spare time I love spending time with my family and our 4 cats, reading and visiting our friends and family who still live on the East side of Melbourne.
Please come and see me to say hello or see if there is anything I can help you with.
