A chat with Linda, Aspire Tarneit Square’s new Centre Manager!

It is an exciting time of growth at Aspire Early Education, with one of the most exciting things being able to welcome in new leaders to our team. We had the pleasure to chat with Linda Naylor, who is soon to lead our upcoming Aspire Tarneit Square centre. Get an insight into Linda’s journey and excitement about starting at Aspire below!

What first led you to the early education industry?

I was initially drawn to the early education industry because of my passion to work with young children. I am also driven by being able to make a positive difference in their lives and give them the best start to their educational journey.

What has your early learning journey looked like so far?

I have worked in early learning for the past 17 years, in various roles within the industry. Starting out as a student doing placement studying my Certificate 3, now I have been managing centres for the past 12 years. I am also undertaking further study at the moment and have almost completed my Bachelor's degree.

What are your hopes as a new Centre Manger at Aspire?

I hope to build a strong inclusive community amongst the families and Aspire Tarneit Square team. To create a welcoming environment for all to come and be a part of is something I will strive for at the Tarneit Square centre. It’s great that my aim to build an inclusive community so strongly aligns with Aspire’s ingrained, deep sense of community!

Are there any learning philosophies that guide you as an educator?

As an ECE practitioner, I believe in providing engaging learning spaces to encourage children to have a sense of belonging. Learning through play is another philosophy I believe in. By unlocking their creativity through play, children are able to explore and experiment, allowing them to learn deeply.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I enjoy spending time with my family, we like to go on adventures in our caravan,. Watching my two older children play football and basketball is how most of my weekends are spent nowadays.

What is your favourite thing about being a Centre Director?

My favourite thing about being a Centre Director is the opportunity to foster and nurture trusting relationships with both families and children. Building these relationships isn't just about providing a safe environment or delivering a curriculum; it's about creating a supportive and welcoming space where families feel heard, understood, and valued. It's about establishing connections built on mutual respect, open communication, and genuine care.

Aspire Early Education Tarneit Square is currently accepting enrolments. If you want to save your spot for when the centre opens, call 1800 978 429 or click here to join the waitlist.
